"Forsaken Learning hall" grouped furniture. Is there a way to ungroup this?

I purchased "Forsaken Learning hall with the intetion of inserting multiple figures. Unfortunately none of the furniture is usable. It is all grouped in one set and reparenting to none does not work. The same with the floor and elements of the ceiling that are in the way of characters. Is there a way to ungroup this scene??

    Product https://www.daz3d.com/forsaken-learning-hall

According to product description there are these props

    Zero Props:

    • Back Wall
    • Black Board
    • Ceiling
    • Floor
    • Front Wall
    • Left Wall
    • Locker
    • Right Wall
    • Shelves
    • Table

So I would assume it is made up of groups or instances.

How does it look in the scene tab if you expand it?

I assumed table was a table, but table, listed in the list as FLH Table with what looks like a cube on its edge in front of it is ALL of the tables and chairs in the room. Every instance. So there is no way for a character to interact with each instance and the placement prohibits execution of the idea I had.  Right clicking brings up options to expand or select children but clicking on them just activates all the furniture.

This is the file list: http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/107818/file_list

So, it appears the "tables and chairs" are one "model" frown

The hollow cube is a null, in this case acting as a group container - you should be able to unparent the table item from that. Is it in fae multiple tables (what goes if you cliock the eye icon to the left to hide it)?

Moved to techncial Help as it is a question about a prouct, not Daz Studio itself.

You could use the Geometry Editor to select one table (or chair) (e.g. select by using the list in the Tool Settings pane, then use marquee seelction to deselect al but one item), delete the unselected polygons (right-click>Geoemtry Editing), and save as a new prop. Repeat for the chair or othe parts if desired.

Unparenting doesn't do anything, but I am able to select single elements with the Geometry surface tool. I'll see what I can do with that.

I must admit I am finding it an odd choise to have one object for all that, as it limits the option for interaction with characters by a lot.

But, a modeller or geometry editor can help.
