As 2025 wraps up, we’ve had a range of 22 characters to enjoy.

Which one stood out as your favorite? What are you hoping to see in 2026?

2025 is now complete.

If you set the image width to 800 it will not look compressed.

  • And it's not viewable in my region (UK)

    Richard

Seeing them laid out like that, the ladies are incredibly samsey. Honestly looks like dialing it in to my eyes. I'm going to go for Carter and today's, Jaewon.

Probably Cecelia and Asha for me, nices characters and I loved the bundles.

Willlow, especially the theme, but I also liked Charlie, Lucas, & Ashley, although it seems Ashley must of been at tail end of 2024.

Kayla, Lucas, Audrey (in the third row), in that order.  Although I don't actually have any of those yet, so I can't say anything about the quality or usability.  Those are just the ones that I find most interesting and would like to work with.

I haven't bought any of them.

Easy win for WIllow 9.  Honestly, it was the only one that really expanded my library byond what I could already acheive just as well using Genesis 8.

It's hard for me to choose my favorite! I really like the ones I have.

Thanks for making the image visible in other regions. I will confess, I haven't liked any of these DO characters enough to buy them, but Audrey is one I've at least come back to several times and thought about. I have, though, bought a few from non-DO PA's this year. HID, Mousso and CB being PA's who's characters seem the most individual in my view. I also have a bit of a feeling that I'm not good enough to make the best use of the characters I already have, so buying more will just add to the characters I'm not using properly. Regards, Richard.

As english is not my native language: could somebody please explain to me the meaning of "samsey" (used in a comment further above)? Thank you!

They were just saying that many of the female characters look very similar ("same"-sy).

I also found that quite a few of the female characters looked too much the same and non-descript. Audrey, Madison, Brianna, and Chloe for example.

My favorites are the more unique ones which I can definitely see myself using for projects: Willow 9, Asha 9 Filatoon version, and Astaroth.

    The less-weathered Calum 9, and Asha 9

    so handsome

Outside the core figures, my favourite characters thru the Daz store in 2025 were KOO Ikaika and PFA Veira.

Calum, Bishop and Carter are my favorites from this lineup.

Charlie 9. Didn't buy him on release, but after I did, been using him a lot as a base. He's quite versatile with other skins, facial hair, and even other body types.

I just want The Girl 9. But to be closer to the "original" shape, like Girl 4, and Girl 7. I like her more rounded toon face. Willow 9 and the other Aiko's (even G9 Anime) are not the same.

  • THe genesis 8 one.... oh wait there wasn't one.

Looking over the list (64-86), these stand out as highlights to me:

    Xiao 9 (attractive Asian character)

    Julian 9 & Lauryn 9 (fixed Michael 9 & Victoria 9)

    Ava 9 (thin shape + harpy add-ons)

Carter 9 (younger male + superb body shape)

    Valenia 9 (another fixed Victoria 9 + dragon add-ons)

Willow 9 (honorable mention for experimenting with a different style + cute)

Kayla, Astaroth, Bishop, Valenia, and maybe Carter and Calum. As has already been said, the female characters often look too similar. With Ava, the add-on bundle was more interesting than the character.

For me, I would say Charlie and Carter.

  • I would say Asha and her toon skin was my favorite female. Tough choice for male but I think for me it was Callum (big Conan the barbarian fan) but Bishop would be right there as well. Willow, Kayla, and Valenia are my female honorable mentions.
  • You missed Centaur 9, released in June 2025. Centaur & Willow are my favorites. I didn't buy any other 2025 core characters/bundles this year, & only have 2 others wishlisted. The WL ones are only there because I like other items in the character bundle & I can get them free when/if the bundle returns to the Premier free selection. The bundle used to be my favorite Premier perk.

  • For the masculine shapes I really like charlie and Bishop.  I will say there isn't a lot of distance between them and the other DO's.  Less is more is definately a factor.  The male characters have more space which makes their releases feel special.

For the feminine shapes I really like Chole and Madison. A lot of the feminine characters fall into this 24–30 athletic (but not too athletic) socially acceptable hot girl category, and it gets a little dull.  If it had been Alice 9 instead of Audrey 9 i would have put her in the favorite category as well.  In my opinion DAZ locked some of the more interesting shapes behind Premier (Carla and Keysha come to mind).

Valenia and Jaewon are too new for me to rate but I do like them.

  • My vote is:1 Elena

Followed by Aya, Valenia, and Madison

I second this, and the harpy stuff is gorgeous! That said, I substituted the very complete https://www.daz3d.com/cc-catalina-for-genesis-9 for Ava and I'm very happy with Catalina. All in one, has everything I need.
