Where is Ichabod's Hair?!

I recently bought Ichabod and his outfit. But I don't see any hair!
Where is Ichabod's hair?!
I would eventually like to buy the whole Sleepy Hollow bundle. But I can't afford to buy it all at once.

If you mean the hair in this image:

I believe it is AprilYSH's https://www.daz3d.com/orson-hair-for-genesis-3--8-males

I wonder why Ichabod didn't get any hair in his own bundle.
But the one you pictured looks good enough. I just hope Christian doesn't mind if Ichabod uses it.
Hey, gotta have some humor!
I think the interest in that sort of period hair is limited. Faber mentioned somewhere that this was the hair used in the promo.
Nemesis10, thanks for the info.
I tend to go through periods where I think certain themes would fit my interest for illustrations.
Lately that has included Sleepy Hollow and A Christmas Story (is that the official name for the story of Scrooge?!)
The visuals of such themes actually fit well with my style of acrylic painting. Some people have said my style resembles that of Van Gogh.
Funny, I don't imagine Van Gogh did such themes?!
1814 was a transitional period for men's hairstyles in America's and Europe. Old movies tend to give him a little pony tail and there are enough in the store

such as https://www.daz3d.com/hs-daniel-ponytail-hair-for-genesis-9-8-and-81-males
However, for his status something more contemporary like the movie and unconnected television series, Sleepy Hollow, might be both more historically accurate such as

Thanks. I placed those on my wishlist. My concern is whether any of the styles will fit under his hat.
I'm still a bit lost on the hat /hair fitting thing.
Ah, still historically plausible is https://www.daz3d.com/volta-hair-and-beard-for-genesis-8 which comes with a hat that you don't have to use but also includes a hat hair morph:
A Christmas Carol
Nemesis10, turns out I already have that hat/hair set.
WendyLuvsCatz, thanks for the info.
Silas3D, thanks for the tip. I've lost touch with so many great thngs like these utility products.
I'm a bit under the weather this morning. Blame it on "Early Holiday Celebration," and two hours sleep.
I've placed the items on my wishlist. I will most likely buy them eventually. I need to give my wallet a break for now.

I just looked over the products. I realized that Ichabod doesn't come with a hat either. That actually makes things easier for me. Everything is fine.
Sorry, lately I've been a bit fuzzy-headed. Sometimes I don't take time to read the entire product description.
If you are looking for a hat, of course, Volta hair comes with one which is a little rakish but period. Though these would require trivial parenting and manual positioning, I would favor the hats from https://www.daz3d.com/the-traveller-for-barnabus-ragwort and the more stylish https://www.daz3d.com/lyon-hair-and-ruff.
Thanks again, Nemesis10.
I already have the Volta set. The Ichabod and Sleepy Hollow packages don't feature a hat or hair. I did find some hair that looked good
I am running into some frustration. So many of these bundles are great, as far as they go. The hard part is seeing if you can get everything to fulfill your version of the story.
I really only know the extreme basics of the stories I am looking at. (Sleepy Hollow and Christmas Carol.)
I have visions of Jacob Marley, the Ghost of Christmas Past, etc, confronting Scrooge. But I can't see how to put it all together.

Here is Ichabod with the Deck Hand Hair. Ichabod is frightened of something, perhaps?!
Think of the sets that you purchase as inspiration rather than like a lego set which leads you to make a specific character. I find it slightly unseemly when people harangue vendors for not listing the elements of images which are meant to be inspiration and advertising instead of recognizing that the ad is not a recipe for a given character. I suspect that the reason that they don't come with hat or hair is that there is a) no vendor who made a specific hair for the character and b) there is no iconic hairstyle for the character. The last famous renditions of the character, Johnny Depp in the film Sleepy Hollow, and Tom mison in the Sleepy Hollow tv had fairly different hairstyles and neither wore hats. Jacob Marley might require some autofit or conversion (https://www.daz3d.com/jacob-marley-for-m3) though this might help: https://www.daz3d.com/ghosts-of-christmas-bundle.
I very much appreciate the input of everyone in this thread. I very much appreciate the work of all the PAs.
I find no fault at all with anything here. I do sometimes try to inject a bit of haphazardness or humor in my struggle to "make art." All too often I have no idea what I'm doing.
I bought Jacob Marley probably decades ago. I just started working with him today. It's my own inabilities that keep me from having a pleasing result.
I do my best work when I sit down and simplify things. Focus on the emotion of the moment, whatever.
Ichabod is afraid. What makes him afraid.
Right now I'm emotionally and physically exhausted. I dropped myself down a Rabbit Hole again. I'm slowly climbing out.
Hey Ron Knights nemesis10, I hope this helps.
When I created Ichabod a while back, I used this hairstyle:
https://www.daz3d.com/historical-hair-for-genesis-8-and-3-males
I felt it fit the period better (late 17th to early 18th century).
I didn’t create the official product promos for him (this was a commissioned project for DAZ), so the promo artist ended up using a different hair.
Here are some preview shots I originally made for approval, using the hair I mentioned above.

Ah, I didn't mention that hair because I wanted to mention some other historically plausible hair and the sleek ponytail is so influenced by a few early illustrators (and amplified by an animated Disney cartoon) that it seemed like a cliche. Ironically, all the people who were suspected as being the real-life model for Washington Irving had hair styles that were far more contemporary. Enough of me being historically pendantic, is it time for a Novak revisited for Genesis 9?
Faber Inc, thank you so much for your reply. I have wishlisted the hair.
I'll get back to Ichabod eventually. I'm a bit scatter-brained for the moment.
Nonetheless, he is a nice character!
Yeah. He has an almost Elvis vibe!
Haha, I think I already used that bullet with the revisited version for G8.1M, but I might consider it. In that line, the next character release is Kingston 9. He's almost ready; I just didn't have time for all the corrective morphs and promos yet. Surely at the beginning of next year **fingers crossed**
I would have no issue with Novak becoming a generational tradition! I would also love a Generation 9 version of Ozias or Hazai!
Faber Inc, it's always a pleasure to hear from a PA.
I really admire people who have all that skill & ability.
I've greatly curtailed buying characters in recent months because I have collected so many, but I would buy a G9 Novak. I have admired that character in his earlier forms but am simply not doing anything with G8/G8.1 anymore.
I’ll make him then ❤️ Thanks everyone for the love for Novak and all my characters. I really appreciate it.
It's great to have two-way conversations with PAs.
I always respect you all.
I remain a fan...
Ah, this made me drag out Novak for the umpteenth time:
Impressive
You conviced me to release a G9 version of Novak along with Kingston 9 next
