Her face has a nice fullness to it, but her cheekbones are still prominent. Nice! I like that she's different than many of the other ethnic ladies. Fun fingernail art too, it seems!

I am quite proud of how she turned out. I tried alot of new techniques to add as much realism and personality to her as I could. She really renders like a dream.
I also made Iray material sets that work in both ds 4.8 and ds 4.9, so she should look good in either version. Plus there is also the 3dl mats as well.

Well, I, for one, am extremely unhappy about this new lady. I swore to myself that I wasn't buying any more ladies. I have way too many to render now as it is. Then I see this girl in the sale today and everything was against me resisting the urge to put her in my cart. She doesn't look anything like anyone in my current catalogue of women. She is really nice looking in a quirky sort of way. She is by RawArt which means quality characters. With discounts, she was at an incredibly low price for a new product. So, she is downloading as I type this. RawArt you have 207 items in your catalogue of which I own more than half and have several more wishlisted. After buying Hag Witch, I worked really hard at resisting that incredible Nefertina you put out then you go and sideline me with a quirky Asian girl.

Not got her yet, but as she is asian and her texture looks great, I will sooner or later.

As for Nefertina, It seems many people had the strength to resist buying her, she was one of my biggest flops in a long time. So I am very happy that you all really dig Natsumi. She was alot of fun to make. I may have to try a few more "human" looking characters ;)
I'm one of those that resisted Nefertina. Sorry to see she didn't do well for you. Can't please everyone all the time I suppose.
As for Natsumi, I honestly think those cheekbones makes her look a bit... odd? Even so, after a bit of hesitation I bought her. As Knittingmommy said, with the discount deals today it was just too good to resist.
EmmaAndJordi's Atsuku will now have a rival for my attention. (Anyone surprised if I say I may have a weekness for "asian" women? )
I liked her, it was a case of getting her later. Can't afford everything and I don't need a mummy character, so was contemplating buying her for the standard skin.
I can't say that the reason I didn't get her was because I didn't like her. I did wishlist her. There was a lot of stiff competition for my money in this year's sale. And this year, I was determined not to spend as much money on the sales. I will most definitely get her at some point. I'm sorry she didn't sell well right off the bat. She is a good character. Hopefully, she'll make money in the long run since she didn't do well out of the gate as it were. I think Natsumi is an awesome character, though, and while I love your fantasy characters, yes, you really should try more "human" looking characters because you do it well. But don't give up the fantasy characters as they are the best ones in the store.

Very nice. Unfortunately, my renders of her probably won't be near as nice with my current skills, but I will be giving her a try as soon as I'm done with my current projects. I love how you did the DOF.
I wish my promo shots looked as good as that render....sometimes you fluke your way into something nice LOL

I have sent the image to DAZ to see if I can get it added to the promos....just gotta wait till they are in house.
I was in two minds about getting Nefertina - how often do you need a wrapped mummy after all? - but then I noticed she had a really nice base morph too. So here she is wearing another character's skin (bad girl I know, but what can you expect from the undead?)
Personally, I like Natsumi's face and it will work nicely as a gene pool mixer too.
It hadn't even occured to me that Nef could wear other skins and I have to say I had been more likely to buy her if it had. Maybe the way to go with that type of character is to do what has been done recently with several of the G3F releases? Release it as a "normal human" with a "monster double" package. Although it will obviously mean more work put into the character.
