I acknowledge that there are women with a low BMI who do have chests developed to the 'Naturally Bending' extent, but they tend to be few & far between, and the much greater proportion seems to have smaller chests.

One of my friends fell into that first category... she hated it. Finding clothes that fit was a nightmare, finding bras that provided any support at all was nearly impossible (and she was fairly athletic, so she'd wind up layering sports bras just for any hope of help), the front-heavy weight gave her back issues... and that's nothing on the social issues she experienced. Due to a family history of breast cancer (like, all the women of previous generations died from it) she wound up getting a preventative double mastectomy. She chose a much smaller size for her reconstruction and has been so much happier.

So whenever I see those proportions, either real life or art, my first thought is always "ow... that poor woman."

The cancer risk sounds horrendous. Must have been a terrible decision to have to face, but it's so nice to hear some good came from it.

When at school I was in the same year as a very sweet girl who unfortunately was in line for backache when older, same as your friend. It was, however, quite funny watching her do athletics, the long jump in particular. However she jumped, the inertia from her chest always dragged her round so she inevitably landed on her face in the sand pit. But.. she was unique in her proportions in the athletic team and felt somewhat disadvantaged relative to other athletes with her build but not her chest size (off the sports ground, I think the consensus was that the advantage reversed, and in the generally pretty happy school we were in, there seemed to be few social downsides - given that she was naturally gregarious, might have been a burden if she'd been shy). Must admit I've lost track of her since leaving school.

    Regards, Richard.

Mostly my friend got tired of the assumptions and the commentary and such... a Jessica Rabbit sort of situation. And of course the cancer fear was really taking a toll on her mental health as well, given she'd lost her mom when she was sixteen (the friend was 16, not the mom). She said it was such a relief to just not have to worry about it anymore. Was pretty close to 20 years ago now, and she's remained cancer-free and blessing the world with her awesome self. :)

I have those shaders. They are excellent. You have done a great job with the canvas. I was able to see some preserved wagons at a "Ghost Town" in the Mojave Desert with my son in the 1980s and that is why I brought up the canvas. Also consider what winds might do to the edges. If someone is traveling across the Great Plains having picked up their wagon on the western side of the Mississippi and is now on the Oregon Trail, they will face sun, wind, rain, tornadoes, hail, dust storms, you name it. All will age fabric fast. That is why clothing is so faded in the West as well. They may have had an extra cover, but that may have been stolen or lost early on. So depending on what you are depicting, the beginning, middle, end or historical reproduction all maybe different. Cattle drives and the chuck wagon from Texas to Kansas the same issues. Military wagons, ditto.

I haven't done the covered wagon genre of reenactment, but I imagine soot from campfire smoke would stain it as well.  (Goodness knows it gets on everything else...)

Yeah. When I went to the Los Angeles Live Steamers in Griffith Park in LA with my dad for a weekend of work, we would cook all our food over fire. Being a bit grubby was a given with a mandatory shower as soon as we hit home on Sunday.

Breast cancer can hit women with small breasts, as well as men. A very young woman in my dorm in Germany in the early 70s was found to have breast cancer. This was when there were not good outcomes yet. At least men now can get screening for it during annual exams.

Regardless of age or sex, I support everyone being checked out for cancer as a part of their annual exams. Don't ignor warning signs wherever they are in your body.

Agreed. (I don't think the size of my friend's original-issue breasts had anything to do with the family history of cancer, but having extra large or extra dense can make it harder for the machines to find it, especially 20+ years ago, and she had both. So on top of genetics, there was a detection issue.)

And mamograms really aren't as bad as they're made out to be, I don't think. I had my first one this year, and with the particulars of my SA history I was braced for the experience (and my reaction) to be deeply unpleasant. Maybe my providers were just awesome (I was upfront with them), but it was a nothing-burger. Sure, not on my top 100 of things I'd pick to do in a day, but it certainly beats what can happen if you skip it and shouldn't have. I'm not dreading the one for next year beyond the usual "oh crud, if Little Dude is nocturnal at that point, that'll be a long day" issues.

Ditto. I was thinking just yesterday that he might've found greener pastures. Instantly buying the bundle out of gratitude.

I saw him in my newsletter and the bundle went into my cart before I even looked at it. For the guys, I am so pleased to have this bundle. The 39 material zones also expand our options even further when we think of our shader collections.

I added https://www.daz3d.com/twizted-makeup-mastery-for-genesis-9 to the cart as well. Even though the samples look a bit beyond what I would want to achieve, I have found the makeup I have bought from her (?) is extremely versatile.

Wouldn't you know, I am back from breakfast and ready to check out and cloud fare hit. Not at DAZ but at Denver! And when it came back, no images of my cart and the store were visible. Just those little placeholder thingies. Can I just say I hate Cloud Fare?

Edit to add: And now that I whined about it, it is back fully. Of course.

About half the internet agrees at the moment; things are a bit up and down right now...

Well it went down before I could process the order. Research found it stretched to London this morning. I went and did some work I had been putting off and coming back I found the site up. The order went through finally.

The way the collar stands way too far away from the neck, was the first reason I rejected this. According to the product page, there are almost no adjustment morphs (none at all for the shirt?). There are only a handful of supported character shapes. There is no dForce. This one is not for me.

Regarding the @mal3Imagery product, I see the shirt can be loaded separately from the file list, but is it actually a fully modelled shirt with tails, or is it cut off at the waist? So basically, is it only good for a tucked-in look for use with other jeans/pants or could I actually use it by itself?

This set has an untucked shirt that also has open morphs. https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-mi-summer-casual-outfit-for-genesis-8-and-81-males

I didn't buy the bundle, I bought the G8M version and the shirt textures. I, because I don't use G9, 2, to send a positive message to the PA that, yes, some people still use G8, and 3, thank you for still making male clothing.

Egyptian Wooden Ramadan Lanterns look distinctly non-wooden.

You can use it by itself, I just installed and tried it. There's a modelled tuck line, but it's not really noticeable.

No, looks more like ceramics or plastic.  Not a good idea to use wood here anyway, I think.

@background I tested that one some years ago.  Chairs badly made, out of porportion with characters.  And you can neither scale the characters up or down to fit.  Here's with Hanako 9, a fairly slim character (first 3 pictures).

And so does this University Lecture Hall | Daz 3D

That one works fine with characters, and chairs can be moved (last picture).

AFAIK those lanterns are usually made of metal and glass. Not sure where the "wooden" comes from...

Or the Celtic knotwork, which doesn't really scream 'Egyptian' to me, but maybe I'm just out of the loop?

Wood also seems ill-advised as a material if you're putting something flammable inside, but hey.

I really love the versatility of this one! The sleeve design turned me off, though, with the way it's slim up by the upper arm/shoulder/armpit area, then boxes out. Certainly someone's cup of tea, and I am happy for those people! Sadly just not for me.

It does have it's problems. The belt doesn't move with the morphs when the robe is open and the first time I used it in a sim got caught on the foot. In the end I used geometry editor to remove the belt completely. Also it's not meant to go over anything and putting a nightie underneath was an issue.

When I bought and looked at the necklace in this set https://www.daz3d.com/mystic-charm-jewelry-set-for-genesis-9-feminine I had a negative, frustrated reaction. I want to revise that opinion today. I used it on top of the turtleneck in https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-3-in-1-sweater-dress-collection. I found the dials in the jewerly set moved the necklace's draping easily around the neck of the character's dress. I did a close-up of the render to show it.
