  • DIM and Daz Central (default to) the same location for tracking what they installed, so unless you have customised the DIM paths since then it should see the Daz Central installations.

All right add me to the list of people not getting the Create Advanced Iray Node Properties script to work.

More specifically, it works on one of my computers where I have an old version of Daz.

On the other computer where I upgraded to the latest Daz, it does nothing. Here's what I suspect is causing it: I originally installed Daz and resources using Daz Connect. However, when I updated to the current Daz, it directed me to use DIM. So it is an original Daz Connect install upgraded with DIM. Apparently this is enough to confuse Daz so the script no longer works.

Can anyone suggest how to fix this? I would like to upgrade the other computer to the latest version as well but it's a downer if the script stops working there as well.

If Daz Studio has registered that there is a Daz Connect installation, it will take priority no matter what you do in DIM.

So I would suggest you find the product icon, right-click and select uninstall. You might have to reinstall with DIM afterwards.

    Thanks for the reply!

Unfortunately, that was that was the exact first thing I tried - uninstall in Daz, uninstall in DIM, reinstall in DIM.

    Same result. blush

    Maybe Richard has a suggestion.

What happens if you doubble-click on the Advanced Iray Node proterty icon installed with DIM in your content library (with a node selected for the intended properties)?

So you riight-click on Default Resources in DS and selected Uninstall? Though the script does work for me with a Connect install, so I don't think that is the issue. What is at the end of the log file (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log File) immediately after you try to run the script?
