@memcneil70: Wow, you really went the extra mile, well done!
@WendyLuvsCatz: Very impressive work, as your video about stonemasons diner!
I really like the Historical Town Clock. All the promo images make it look like a model railway model (vantage, camera angle, lack of people), which is interesting but I confess I'd prefer a less model-like promo image too. However, looks good.

Richard
I paused that video about half way..wow, now that's pretty cool. I'm looking into Twinmotion right now.The price is right. It show the houses and stff well too. I ended up buying the Stonemason product yesterday. Couldn't pass that one, but I must say I shouldn't have passed on the first suburban release last week or so, but will grab it asap. He had talked about releasing suburbs like that a long time ago. Its great to see it happen .
the only thing about Twinmotion is consolidating all the materials and chasing up extra maps, takes me longer than rendering
I actually use an old version initially as it finds the original paths, later ones you need to either export the textures to a folder too or manually find everything
its worse than DAZ studio itself when it comes to obj or FBX import in that way
but it does separate meshes, also I use the instances to objects script
The Twinmotion renders look good, nice to see the hopscotch game in the alley..in the first Suburbs set I did about 12 years ago I had a hopscotch decal on the ground too..was meaning to add it in this latest release but only just remembered while seeing your video
thanks
Stoney
your sets are nice and light in TM unlike much DAZ content
the materials is a Twinmotion issue for everything, it creates a new one for every surface and cannot at least arrange them alphabetically, Unreal Engine which it is built on is just as bad but easier to consolidate
The Architects that mostly use it don't seem to care, technically so does DAZ studio as anyone importing obj and FBX files knows,
was mostly warning Daveso
the animated cars are awesome though
Impressive creation, @WendyLuvsCatz
Well done.
I'm curious where the inspiration comes from to stock so many lingerie sets in the shop, 14 just in the last 7 days.
It's close to halloween. The scare factor is massively increased when the female protagonist is threatened while scantily clad - ask the director of any B Movie Slasher flick...
Does seem somewhat excessive, I agree.
Regards,
Richard
I think it's just a lack of originality. ( edited to remove what I really think ).
You can tell the products apart because they have slightly different names.
Because we all want to see our female characters, in lingerie with their asses out.
As a female, I hate thongs and slips that ride up, between the cheeks.
But a big plus....change the material and voilà, you now have amour. Yay..../s
Probably from popularity of the products. I'd imagine that the segment of customers using Daz to produce titilating, adult, or even explicit material (images, animations, games) is large enough to justify it, and my guess would be that they have paying audiences to afford buying more and more lingerie and other similar products.
Am I missing something? Usually when there's a "featured" part of the sale there's a set of older stuff that is on sale. Is the "Fashion Lingerie Blowout Sale" just the handful of items in the doorbusters?
Apparently, we did check just now.
Wow Wendy you did a great job with TwinMotion. Great to see Daz assets being used in the environment. Thanks for sharing.
Today's Doorbuster offer was once again 100% uninteresting to me. Who actually buys all the same old lingerie stuff and the same old white or Asian female figures?
Oh well. The last days of the member sale have dawned (at least I think so) and I make sure that I get the things I'm interested in from the outlet at the super favourable sale prices.
Kudos, Wendy!
That really ROCKS! :)
it was too hard to fix because that version of Twinmotion with the 3D grass the left right option is greyed out for vehicle paths for some reason, I can move the signs
I just set it in America
maybe I could reverse the x axis of the video?
Wendy, I am so impressed. And I am also glad I didn't give into temptation and listen first thing this morning, before my flatmate was up. I always forget where the sound controls are on this thing at first.
I know there must be a lot of technical stuff behind what looks easy, so I am blown away by this.

Wow, Wendy, that video is brilliant! I wish I could do that. Maybe something for me to look into when (if?) I ever get a newer higher powered PC.
my PC is actually a potato compared to most
a Ryzen3
I do have a nice 2080Ti though thanks to TheMysteryIsThePoint
the video is actually nothing special, done many of them have playlists on 2 of my channels of Twinmotion videos, other than the texture/material import thing it's very easy to use
it has lots of its own content too including Quixel Megascans and embedded linking to Sketchfab models
Stonemason's stuff is what makes this one and some others look good
Wendy, my flatmate just watched it, along with Simon my 3paw. Charlie left (he thinks he's a critic!) Both Simon and the flatmate were very impressed.
This is how I know I'm safe from any strange slasher-style serial killers: I don't own /any/ matching bra and panty sets, let alone "decorative" ones. As far as I can tell, that's a prerequisite.

I love that there's some traditional clothing in today's selection, and it looks really well made! (...I am too white to comment on authenticity, but at least it isn't fetishwear...)
(eta: though the necklace doesn't sit realistically, now that I look closer.)
I do wish the PA had been more specific than "Native American-style".
Another presequisite for getting caught is being able to run slower than the bad guy can walk. And remember you don't have to be the fastest runner, just faster than someone else.
It might be a mix of styles rather than a specific one. Beside I think using a specific tribe name for a commercial product requires permission from the tribe.
The dress reminds me of some pictures I've seen of Lakota dresses, but I have no idea if that's supposed to be the inspiration .
It does looks great so I'll certainly get it.
Ah, I wasn't aware of that bit. (And I suspect there are a LOT of people in violation of that one, if true...)
I was mostly thinking about how in the advocacy spaces I follow, there are often complaints about native culture being treated as one big conglomerate.
I like many products today, especially the https://www.daz3d.com/small-work-office, which IMO fully rigged (!) is gold for storytellers (comic). Details like cabels and nice colors give it some warmth, while the tiled floor and walls prevent it from feeling too comfy. To me interesting as environment, not as prop pack, the latter being the usual reason why I buy such assets.
