I was excited to see Stonemason's new suburb products in the store. They make it easy to create a scene showing a neighborhood with taller city buildings in the background.

    Products used:

    The Suburbs

    Urban Sprawl 3

    XI Modern SUV

Now-Crowd Billboards - Modern City Life

Orestes Iray HDRI Skydomes - Summer Day

I've recently been posting some Iray spherical renders. I did one of the above highway scene. Click here to see it. Use your mouse to scroll around up/down and left/right.

I have never seen one of those done in DAZ Studio before, well done and thanks for showing it.

Is the background cityscape part of this new interior set?

Click the Read Me link on the shop page. Click the File List on the documentation page. If you don't any HDRI or backdrop or similar files (especially in the Runtime/Textures directory), then no.

Looking at today's header promo image, I'm pretty sure this is in my library somewhere...

Update: it's Xi Futuristic Church, and it's not in my library (yet).

Something tells me this is Vice City, oops, Miami... oops, Dubai.

Is it really cartoonish? The "distant" buildings seem particularly toony.

It's inspired by the end of one of the Dubai Palms isn't it?

There are very few Google street view views of the area, but it looks like it. The 5 window wide tower with a domed top does look a bit low in detail.. But who am I to talk? My next freebie has 20 facets at the moment, not exactly overwhelming in quantity or detail. And it's not after already making 8 different buildings.

    Regards,

    Richard

I would assume this as well given the shape of the "distant" towers" and the general curve of the street.
