Starlight Gauze body suit from the VYK Starlight Gauze Dress makes the Genesis 9 model disappear

[Starlight Gauze body suit from the VYK Starlight Gauze Dress makes the Genesis 9 model disappear] It's exactly as the title says. I simply click to load the body suit and the Genesis 9 model disappears except for the eyes and the mouth, as you can see. Does anyone know what may be causing this and how I can fix it?

You probably need to hae a Geoemtry Shell applied to the figure, the the Bodysuit materials preset hides the unneeded parts and sets the remainder to look like fabric. Check to see if there is a preset (a Wearables preset, except you don't have any of the emtadata showing to guide you) for adding the shell first.

If you installed the product via DIM, you would easily see you loaded a Material Preset on G9 rather than the bodyshell ~~

    Also check the Hint ~~

I selected the Sexy Skinz Base and it worked. Thanks a lot!

  • Hey guys, sorry to ask for too much help but I have stumbled upon another issue, this time with the DAZ to Blender bridge and the Dragonhide Delta Loadout for Genesis 9 Daz to Blender Bridge issue with Dragonhide Delta Loadout for Genesis 9 https://share.google/gefSw5d8yPq51jokD I really want that model to work on Blender so I would appreciate some help and no one has replied to the thread yet when usually people would have replied already at this point so I am posting about it here. Hope you don't mind.

You could try asking in the blender forum.

But I would expect that they will recommend you to use Diffeomorhic to get your files into blender.

  • Diffeomorhic? Never heard of it but thanks for the suggestion. I'll check it out.
  • I tried Diffeomorphic out and it worked perfectly. Thanks a lot for the tip!
