Unity to DS Import?

I have been noticing some great looking 3D environments designed for game engines becoming available at a very low cost. [Offsite, and temporary, commercial link removed] I've discovered that Unity offers a FBX export which allows transferring single models into DS. I would love to drop some of these environments into DS with textures if I didn't have to do so 1 piece at a time. Before I jump down another technological rabbit hole only to emerge a month later a little wiser and somewhat disappointed, I thought I would throw this one out to our community of 3D experts. Is this a worthy endeavor? Thank You.

The easiest path for me is via Blender, using https://www.daz3d.com/blender-to-daz-studio-plugin
One need to prepare materials in Unity to use basic shaders and then export to Blender via FBX.
There are some tools in Unity Asset store to make such conversion automatically.
Thanks Artini!
I have a lot of Unity assets I've been ignoring and I'm starting to look into this myself. I am curious what advantages are there to preparing the materials in Unity to use basic shaders and then exporting to DAZ Studio via FBX? If the end goal is DAZ Studio and we're probaby going to finalize shaders and such inside DAZ eventually, what's gained by going to Blender first, then to DAZ?
For me it is possibility to transfer most of the maps from Unity to Daz Studio automatically.
I have tried the direct transfer from Unity to Daz Studio via FBX, but only basic color maps
are transferred to iray shader.
There is official thread about Blender to Daz Studio plugin:
