Started out as a conversion of MDD's Siara over to A3, but then the bonus butterfly skin gave me some ideas...

Also made a custom "Monarch" texture for FK's Lumino Wings, not too bad for 20 min of effort.

You never fail to amaze me.  Yes, sometimes I have to go back through your forum to see things again.

    I love this so much.

Ok, where did you get the Monarch texture for the wings?  Where did you get these awesome boots for A3?

Anytime you had rather not answer, I perfectly understand!!

Ethan, A3 is just lovely here!!

Ha, I'm guilty of that too, sometimes I come across posts I don't remember making, or find I only thought I had posted something.

I made the wing texture, I was in a hurry so it's quick and dirty but it does the job.

lol Most of my project are actually rushed, I've got to get the ideas out of my head before the spark of inspiration burns out and my muse moves on, no telling if or when I'll come back to something.

The whole outfit, boots included, is Rhiannon's Echo Outfit for the Genesis 3 Female (discontinued but there is still a G8F version), I used my custom made auto-fit clone to convert them to A3.

    Thanks!

  • Custom made auto-fit and your own texture for the wings.  I am thinking you are a genius in this 3d world.

Anyway, I love looking thru your art!!  Hours, days of work and people looking for 30 seconds :(

    Not all people :)

What a nice autumn scene - very well done!

  • Very painterly effect. I like all the wind blown leaves.

Turned my goat girl Nanette into a pygmy goat.smiley

Then she wanted a goat plushy (no such thing on the market, not that I could afford one if there was anyway), so I tried to make one.

My modeling skills are a bit rusty, and like always I got it blocked out fine but can't seem to figure out where to go from there.

    With regard to the Plushy:

Your modelling skills are fine. The shape looks great. There are a few steps from here to consider, assuming you just want it to be a solid prop. There are more if you want it as a figure, but I'm not the best to advise on that.

    1. Do you want seam detail visible in mesh? If yes, cut a groove in the model where you want the seams.
    2. Create Surface Groups for the individual limbs, horns, ears and body if you want the option to have different materials for each (I see you've done it with the eyes already, might be useful).
    3. Texture map: A really simple program like 'UVMapper Free' (the one I use) is going to be hard to use to create a  to get the surfaces to work.
    4. Create the texture map and save it in an appropriate <content>/runtime/Textures directory.
    5. Apply a plushy shader with the right texture map.
    6. Save as a scene asset.

Look at packaging it up for distribution because it's great.

    Regards,

    Richard.

Yeah, I was probably just being whinny. I should know by now my stuff always seems to look worse and worse until it suddenly doesn't.

Boy that was a lot of work!...

@Ethin: This one is rendered with IRAY, right?

  • Looks superb, really does.

I'm also versed in quite a few traditional art mediums, video game world design, floral arrangement, tree pruning, and plant breeding to name a few other random skills. Jack of all  master of none.
