RTX 50x0 - when usuable?

Hi,

due to the availability of powerfull GPU-Cards I have to buy an RTX5070 for my new win11 computer.
When will I be able to render in iray using this GPU?

I know that there should be a daz2025 alpha version. But how usuable is it really?
How to download?

    You can use it already by using the DS 2025 Alpha - you will never be able to use it in DS 4 due to changes nVidia made in the way they compile the code (DS 4 might be updated to work with that, but if Daz actually did so it would break plug-ins and scripts in exactly the same way as DS 2025). The onyl real issue with transferring a scene from DS 4 to DS 2025 is plug-in support, but very few leave live data that would be an issue (Mesh Grabber modifiers need baking down to actual geometry changes).

    Don't forget that some functionality that works in DS4 has broken in DS6 2025 Alpha releases. Currently, dForce hair seems to be broken. In the previous release, there were unexpected timeline problems that suddenly appeared. It is still an Alpha release, so things go wrong.

    So does this mean DAZ2025 won't render iray on RTX40x0 ?

    The version of Iray in DS2025 can use RTX50xx but it can use older cards too.

    I intend to move my current 2080Ti across to a new machine with a 50x0 card so that it will still work with DS 4, it should be good for a while yet since the previous generation is only deprecated not yet removed.
