Personally I don't mind the sales disasters, it's when I tend to get the best deals. You just have to act fast and not wait too long to checkout because you never know what is intentional and what is accidental.
Obviously, they've already quit!
You get a nice discount, meanwhile PAs lose out on money through no fault of their own. When Daz puts things up for free or adds a bigger discount than intended to items, it ends up robbing PAs of money they deserve. Like a mistake 6 months ago when stuff that should've be selling for around $40 (60% off) instead could be bought for $0.60. PAs who wored hard to make a product worth a $100 base price were earning less than a dollar per purchase
The 30-30 discount banner seems to have taken the day off...
I think Richard already flagged it. In the meantime, you can find it here, in the sales discussion thread. I grabbed it from DIM. (Not posting it here in case it's mods change their mind and it's not ok to share. This way they only have to delete it from one spot.)
I want to say this in regards to sales glitches, my experience has been that I would have never bought those items unless they were heavily discounted. It's usually stuff that has been sitting in my wishlist forever and I never really intended to buy, but then I see it finally hits a rock bottom price, so I buy it despite not realy wanting it.
Ironically, I have a lot of stuff like that in my library, that I have never installed or rendered even once. So if anything, the PAs in those cases are getting more sales than they would normally get, even if it is only 60 cents, it is 60 cents more than they would normally get from me because I would never buy the item otherwise. It's not like selling one more unit is hurting them, since we are talking about digital items, there is no per unit expense here. They aren't even paying the server costs, Daz is doing that.
Now the stuff I actually want and use on a daily basis, I tend to buy much sooner and at a higher price. If anything I over pay on those items because I want them so badly.
Then there is the case of the "reciprocity principle". Getting something cheap/free from a PA, whether intentional through a freebie provided by the PA, or unintentional through a sales glitch also has an effect on my future purchases with them. I try to return the favor in future purchases. Its a natural reaction.
So I think in the end it all evens out. Sure we get some heavily discounted older items in sales glitches, but we also pay more sometimes for new stuff as buy-ins. It is what it is. if it weren't for the sale glitches how boring would the sales be? They do tend to add some carnival like excitement whether intentional or not.
Is the extra 10% on "still new" with debut new in cart working?
Like yesterday, the 30 for 30 Orange banner is missing but is visible through DIM.
For those of us who don't have access to a computer with DIM installed, the coupon is FAMILIAR-30 (it's for people eligible, so people who have more than 30 items from today's Featured Artists, best way to know if it's your case is to try the coupon directly).
It's all well and good saying that the PA is making "one more sale" that they wouldn't have made otherwise, but you are forgetting that everyone is paying that price (and most of them would have bought it at the actual discount that it shoud have been at). Almost 80 times as many people need to buy it at $0.60 to equal what they wuld have got at $40.You cannot try to justify that they are making more money when their $100 product is being sold at a 99% discount. Not to mention the fact that because sales glitches are so common, people hold off on paying actual intended prices on things and sit around waiting for a glitch that will give them an overinflated discount.
It's also very strange to be arguing that PAs aren't losing out when the sales glitch that began this discussion is specifically about Daz putting PAs products up FOR FREE when they weren't supposed to. The PA is literally makng no money off those kind of glitches and the people who had their product sitting in their wishlist (meaning they were people who did intend to buy it at some point) have just walked away with it for free. That is a huge amount of lost money.
If an physical shop had a tendency to accidentally leave its cash register open and unguarded, do you think they'd fix the issue and train their staff to stop leaving the money out to be stolen? Or do you reckon it's more logical to keep leaving the register lie that, and assume the thieves will believe in the "reciprocity principle" and will graciously choose to balance out their free money by buying more from that shop later?
Let's try to remember this thread is primarily to help report sales oddities to the moderators so we can, in turn, report them to Daz. We do have a discussion thread for the sales.

If there is too much discussion here, moderators may miss an actual issue.
That's strange. The glitches I notice are rarely good deals – at least not for the customer. Those who rush into buying here often end up looking foolish.
The link to Debut New in the Bloody Good Deal section is a link to the wishlist, not the Debut New section:

Thanks, Elor.
Should be fixed.
Should be fixed
Both are as far as I can see (after forcing a full refresh of the page). Thank you :)
The readme for Psikodelia Bodysuit HD Outfit for Genesis 9 is currently not available:

I just noticed that Hanako 9 HD add-on lists itself as a required product: https://www.daz3d.com/hanako-9-hd-add-on
Thanks. Probably damm you, auto-complete strikes again.
The WISHING coupon is not working on New Releases but the text doesn't reflect that:
Poor Hanako, she also had bugs with her various alternatives shapes (they loaded without any textures before they were fixed)
Yes, WISHING coupon not working for me either, so guess I'll just have to carry on wishing rather than buying those items on the wishlist...!
It should be working on anything else: the only items that didn't end with an extra discount during my test were items with the New label.
The WISHING coupon exclusions have been updated as it is normal practice to exclude new.
Is it correct that the "60% off with any Debut New Release or Golden Ticket Item" for the WISHING coupon only works with a Golden Ticket in your cart (and not for owning current Golden Tickets)? Every other Golden Ticket sale has been "own or buy", but this seems to state that you need one in your cart
I've always taken the buy part as "in your cart" as you're in the process of purchasing.
In my world it's not normal practice to advertise products at a certain price, having a customer wonder why the "system" doesn't allow him to actually buy the advertised products at the advertised price and then later say "sorry you didn't get to buy what we offered in print, because we just forgot to apply normal practice." I wouldn't normally complain because I know people can make mistakes, but this is not the first but the umpteenth case of false advertising. I've seen mistakes like this so many times that I would be a fool to just shrug it off as "human error". I know, it's not illegal what they do but that doesn't mean it's OK.
