Do Hexagon tools even work???

I'm trying to do what should be a simple Boolean operation. I select my first object (a cube I created in Hexagon), select Boolean from the Surface tools palette, then select my second Hexagon created cube. Nothing happens. Doesn't matter if I hit the Enter key or click the Accept button. In reviewing the manual, I don't see anywhere a Tool Propties box with a Validate button, nor do I see any -/+ to view the different Boolean options. What am I missing?

    it should be straight forward

    create first cube

create 2nd smaller cube and move it into the the first cube

with smaller cube still selected select boolean from the menu then click on the larger ( first ) cube

    done..

    cool

Hexagon sometimes hangs, change the perspective of the object and try again.

It is also important that you use the current beta version, as older Hexagon versions had issues.

  • Thank you. Later, after I posted, I somehow (accidently) got it to work. But I will check what version I have.

Wow, that is a cool illustration, Nova!  Medical illustrations who specialize in dentistry manuals would have a field that with this sort of thing. laugh yesyes

Also, per the OP's question - I thought that the Enter key serves as validation?
