yeah looks like it got resaved during testing and the file not being saved the right way. I'll update it now and send to Daz again. sigh
ok, sounds good.
Get your wife interested in this 3D art, HorusRa.
My husband was my best critic. We had a lot of fun.
Hi, Fred, I guess you all don't have a lot of time to post. :-) I don't see how you keep your heads together, putting together so many neat products.
Fisty, meant to tell you, if you modeled the cool vampire jewelry, my V7 really appreciates it. She was lacking in jewelry. ;-)
Looks good. =-) I'm afraid the HD morphs are too much for my computer, or I would buy this. I hope you have plans to release some characters that aren't HD at some point.
I dont sleep, so thats how i do it lol
but seriously, it's because i love doing what i do that i have the energy to go for a week or so on very little sleep, in order to pull a deadline off :)
Just set it to "Base Resolution" and it should render without using HD. Thats how i do it for test renders etc. And it;s the reason i dont do a seperate non HD morph anymore as it seems to do the trick for anyone who cant render HD. Alternatively, there is a very easy way to unlink the HD morph completely from the data file, so you only get the base one loading, just needs very little text document skills ;)
however just setting it to base res, works as far as i am aware just as well, based on my own experiance as well as feedback when i suggested doing that to others who wanted a non HD one ;)
I think that's only in Iray, 3delight automatically raises the SubD level for HD.
ah i see. well easy enough to unlink from the data, takes a few secs really. gonna try and write a little tutorial on how to do it. :)
That would be great Fred. I love your work, but I can't really get them to work so well on my old machine using 3delight. I hope to upgrade next year, but you are making me drool with your fantasic characters. =-) 3delight is my chosen renderer since I love the color and look of images made with it.
Thanks,
wyn
yeah i'll try and get something written up soon... but please feel free to chase me up in a few days or so if i havent done it yet, as i am rubbish at remembering stuff, even when i write it down lol

You have a point there. :-) My husband wasn't interested in "doing" this either, but he'd always critique what I did, very happily.
Actually, I think he looked forward to pointing out errors. :-)
Welcome! =) We also have a full set of just jewelry for G3F in our shop if you need more classic designs.
Cyborg, cyborg, cyborg, cyborg.!!!!!
I'm excited about the cyborg too. Although hopefully a male character too.
Wait, we were doing a cyborg?
*wanders off grumbling about more geografts...
Love reading anything that has to do with vampires! SO behind on everything lately, I think my creativity took a major nosedive this past spring and life hit me upside the head. Add on to vamp lore, a daylight ring made by witches. I hear someone in my head telling me I watch way too much tv. I love new ideas that keep getting added onto the vampire genre. Makes me feel all creepily happy! HI Jan19! You made my month with your message.
Greetings,
Uh huh! I'm pretty sure you are...yep. ;) A pretty-boy cyborg (G2M? G3M!) with a little scruff, an easy grin, one organic eye, one with little circuit-board patterns and a camera iris in it, maybe with a 'makeup' around that eye that has little tendrils of metal...also a metallic arm with greebling... Of course a G3F cyborg would have the same eye pattern, a little shorter ('The word is COMPACT, soldier!'), one arm/hand geografted with cool tools and a network jack on the back of her neck... So...anyhoooow...I'll just show myself out. ;)
Just as another random thought, while I love the typical jewelry, something I haven't seen in a long time is anklets. Nobody seems to do them anymore, which makes me a little sad. I know I can use many bracelets to emulate them, but the way 'bits' hang off a bracelet (if it has bits) is different than how they hang off an anklet, and there's always some work getting it to sit at the right angle on the foot and such.
Oh, and can I say, your note that the jewelry was inspired by Rosario + Vampire has made it nearly a must-purchase. My wife adores that show, and I also like it. Of course we're buffy fans also, so the bundle has that going for it too...
