Not giving the Members half-price for Outlet/QuickGrab on the artist stores is the intended behaviour, we have asked about adding a note.
Very disappointing. Considering that the Daz sales are almost guaranteed to have issues basically every day and need to be complained about and fixed, it'd at least be nice if they could accurately describe what the sales are supposed to do. As for this specific decision; they call it "Quick Grab pricing" and lock it in so other discounts/tokens don't work on it (as if it were a Quick Grab item) BUT the only Quick Grab thing they don't apply to it is members discount. Is that going to be a new way to devalue our monthly memberships? Call everything under $10 "Quick Grab pricing" and lock it in so that tokens and discounts (and also member half price savings) don't work on it?
Also, please update on the actual Quick Grab items (not Artist store stuff) that were jumping up in price. Multiple Quick Grab items that should be $0.99 for members are still going up to $1.99 when you add an Artist item to the cart. A mod said this was fixed earlier but it is still not working over 12 hours later.
I think the argument is that they are QG price, not QG items.
Is this all items or specific combos?
It's been noticed on at least 2 items (mentioned in previous comments). I don't know how widespread it is, but most Quick Grabs seemt o work fine as far as I've seen. I also don't think it's certain combos as I tried multiple different Artist items and they all made the QG item jump up to $1.99
The combination in my cart- 1 QG item and one Artist item went to $3.99 each. I'm not very adept at figuring out these sales so I might be misinterpreting the terms.
What is "MSRP?"
The "Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price" - it means the full price listed in the store (without discounts).
Which is odd considering that (if you sort high to low price) the first 35 or so items linked to that banner all exceed that price!
There are bundles in the selection for the "Stolen Goods" sale, but when I put them in the cart with a new release, they don't go down to 3.99. Other items are, so I know I have a viable trigger item (Greek Houses 1, but I also tried Medieval Bell Towers 1). The bundles I've tried are the Winged Wonders Bundle Plus Bonus Content, Fit Control for Genesis 9 Bundle, Fit Control Bundle for Genesis 8 Female(s) and Male(s) and the Van Helsing 9 HD Character Bundle. The text for the ad doesn't say anything about excluding bundles (besides, if it did exclude them, why are they in the selection?)
Their MSRP is higher than $40 - so despite the fact they have been added to that list they really should not be there.
Thanks for pointing that out, I appreciate it! That is extremely frustrating. I would hope that they would have removed non-sale items from the selection by this time of day. Richard, do you think there is any way we could get an official word on whether or not those items are supposed to be included? Or whoever is watching the forums right now, it looks like Richard hasn't been here today, I think?
There is nothing in
That doesn't says the QG price only applies to "QG items". Your explanation sounds like splitting hairs. If Premier and Plus don't get the discount that is advertised as one of the benefits of those paid for plans, then they should just say "Get this stuff for $9.99 or less" and don't mention Quick Grab AT ALL. Then no one's expectations would be mistaken.
I can't even make the Buy It Like You Stole It work.
Why are today's new releases on the promo page called 'Swift' instead of 'Underworld'? Is this the reason why my 'Underworld Artist' item only gets 50% instead of 70% off, even though I have a 'Swift'/'Underworld' item in the cart?
Seems to be a mixup on today's page https://www.daz3d.com/read-your-fate-dont-be-late The pageis headed up 'read your fate etc', the products are labeled 30% off Swift New Releases, the artists are 50% off “Underworld” Artist Stores, and when you click on an artist (in my case Feng) is https://www.daz3d.com/fated-artists#filter_vendor=Feng&filtered=1 So I'm not getting 70% off my Feng product.
Should work now.
Indeed it does, thank you for reporting :)
Am I missing something here? I'd like to take them up on this, but I'm not seeing predictable results when I have a cart with a new "Charmed" item and add various wislisted items (ie, old, new, on sale already, not). There's an asterisk and no fine print.
The item needs to be in your wishlist before the sale. That's how these wishlist sales work. The fine print diesn't mention it this time.
The items in question have been wishlisted for days, weeks or months.
Many of the recent wishlist sales have excluded "New" items, which most of my wishlisted items still are. I think this sale may be excluding those. I'm getting varying discount amounts on the handful that are not still designated as "New."
Bummer.
Thje missing disclaimers are there now. Do the prices make sense aside from that, allowing for whatever other offers may be applying?
Yes, thanks. Fine print is there now. It's that my wishlist is almost entirely new items. I had started suspecting that.
New items are not excluded, but no discount. But maybe it is because there are no "Charmed" New Releases, only "Swift" New Releases?
While I'm going to report the wrong titling, I do seem to be getting the expected discounts on my wishlisted items when I click on the link to them from the sale. I started with an item that didn't have any base discount and got 30% and then one that had 40% and got the 58% that I expected.
Edit: oh, but you're trying new items in your wishlist? Let me check cuz those are often excluded.
As I suspected, there was supposed to be a disclaimer regarding new items in the wishlist. This has been added and the title changed from Swift.
I don't know if it's the expected result, but the 'More Savings Every 4 Hours' section is showing the same exact DREAM10 code than before the refresh a couple of minutes ago.
Speaking of the DREAM10 coupon, can you stack it with the wishlist+new release discount? I'm getting an invalid warning when applying it to my cart.
Yes, and the button throws me to the main page and does not lead to my wishlist. If that's right, I probably don't understand the sale.
