I just uploaded a new version following your precious feedback, which should be released shortly on Daz Shop.
Version 3.7.44 release notes:
1) Merge Textures Width and Height property added.
2) Scale As Percent option added.
3) If the file is not saved, the user now gets a prompt to save in any location of choice rather than in the temp file.
@Doctorjellybean yes, at the moment I am working very fast on the updates while the technical process of review takes a bit longer. I asked the reviewer to directly process the new version to save time.
@hansmolleman33 please also ensure that you have followed the installation instructions in the Readme file. Also, if you have installed a previous version, please uninstall it, restart Blender, and then install the new one. Let me know if you solve your problem. Best wishes, Matronius
How do you install exactly? Sometimes I struggle installing BTD.
A tut on converting principle to BDSF would help me a lot. I get a lot of texture errors when importing to daz. I've stopped using your plug in for this one reason.
@AnEye4Art converting to standard principled BSDF is not always an easy task, but can be achieved with other add ons. I will try to create a tutorial at some point. It is also possible that non-standard textures will be supported in future, but it is a very hard task
Hi @Artini, please DM me as I need additional details to be able to help. Also, please note that FBX import is notoriously messy and buggy, so I do wonder if the issue is just the FBX format rather than anything else. I will wait for your message. Best wishes. Matronius
I've put this blender to Daz tool on the shelf for now. The intention is good and the possibilities are promising. But, in my opinion, it's not ready for prime time.
@AnEye4Art I think the tool is quite mature and ready for prime time and delivers what it promises. We never said that the tool supports non standard textures, this is clearly reported in the description of the tool, the readme and the tutorial. We are not giving up on the idea of supporting non standard textures in future, but this task is so daunting that it will likely require a completely separate product and a very long R&D time. The Blender to Daz tool works quite well with principled BSDF textures and we remain committed to improve it and react to constructive feedback to the best of our abilities. Best wishes, Matronius
I am doing my best!!! Unfortunately it is extremely hard to support non standard textures, it is something we tried to do with several hours of R&D but for now there is no breakthrough around the corner. Best wishes, Matronius

@Matronius Thank you very much !
Great updates, @Matronius
Will wait for them.
Glad to see that an update has been submitted.
It seems that we are still waiting for this one?

@n.aspros123 I am preparing a new installation tutorial right now
Great tutorial. I am amazed, how easy you transfer animations from Blender to Daz Studio.
I have only tried imported FBX file with the character and its animations in Blender,
but after exporting to Daz Studio, the animations was gone and not transferred.
Apparently I am missing something in Blender, that prevents animations to be transferred.
Thanks for the response, @Matronius.
I am not at my rendering computer right now, but I will contact you later.
I have also found some informations in the Blender manual.
https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/addons/import_export/scene_fbx.html
They also mention some problems with import of FBX to Blender.
I am trying to import FBX with Humanoid animations from Unity.
@Matronius
Such support from a vendor is definitely awesome ! Thank you very much!
For importing FBX into Blender, the add-on Better FBX Importer & Exporter is a good alternative ~
Thanks, @crosswind
Another question I have is how to export Collections?
Example is in https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/editors/outliner/selecting.html
Many demo scenes from Blender https://www.blender.org/download/demo-files/
contains many collections, so I have tried to export to Daz Studio just one
and have choosen Selected in Blender to Daz Studio,
but nothing was transferred.
What is the magic trick to deal with the Collections in Blender?
AFAIK, BTD add-on doesn't support exporting a selected Collection node with its children ~
See if @Matronius can confirm that and add a feature for that...
Thanks, I have tried to hidden certain collections in Blender scene and used Transfer All.
Right ~ or right-click to Select Objects with the selected Collection, then Export Selected.
Ok, thanks. Have to try it myself.
Have tried some demo scenes from Blender, but they are using some other materials and they look different in Daz Studio.
I never heard from anyone about how well the Kitbash3D sets worked with it in D|S
because it's all out of my budget never worried too much but would still like to know if they import as separate objects and have all their textures
being articulated (doors opening wheels turning etc) would be a bonus
Hi @WendyLuvsCatz, I can do some tests and let you have some feedback soon. Best wishes
