"Take me to your leader before I KABOOM your sorry ass !"
If there was ever an appropriate time for Olaf to lose his head, this would be it.
Love the pure "fun" render, thanks for sharing it. An extra chuckle in my day is *always* appreciated.
Thanks - glad it gave you a tickle !!!
nice retro-style rocket
Thanks - onto a Toon Cabin now !!!
toon cabins always come in handy..
will it have the curvy look that toon houses have?
Curvy roof, sloped sides, will have a toony chimney. Got to also add a few bricks and tiles, then a bit of landscaping. Had some fun with reverse normals at the windows which I fixed up.
cute
Thanks !!!
Modelling done - now to get the crayons out !!!
Lookin' good!
+ 1 and you'r welcome
Thanks !!!
Thanks !!!
Painting 95% done, will need to adjust the roof tiles before I am happy with it.
Doing a check in Carrara it was quite noticeable there was a gap between the roofs and the beams, will fix up tomorrow.
Preliminary screenshot and render in Carrara.
Tidied up version included in Zip file.
Hmmm, what can I do with Stezza's little fellow .....
looking good...
tip: when exporting from Carrara to OBJ to use in Blender make sure you untick smoothing first so it doesn't save in a higher mesh
Thanks Stezza !!!
When I got the obj into Blender I initially halved the model down the middle then mirrored the missing half. Next I subdivided by a factor of two to get it ready for the work I intended which is block out of the shape followed by sculpting. Unfortunately it generated a number of artifacts down the centre of the model which were a right royal PITA to deal with. Gave up after trying to get it to work for a couple of hours.
I then tried reimporting the obj and applying the subdivision first before halving the model then mirroring it, which worked. Also had to flip the normals as they were all pointing inwards.
Have nearly finished the blocking out, and about to do sculpting. Toon Alien.
Arrrghh - centreline is out of wack with what I was doing - back to the start again - still driving on my Learners plates .....
Win 10? Try splitting it with 3d builder then duplicate and mirror it then meld the two pieces
Thanks for the tip !!! Currently learning sculpting in Blender so still a novice with plenty of learning to do .....
SX0 was what command for the keyboard that I needed !!!
Starting to make progress, still got heaps to learn !!!
