    Additional fits for dForce Trumpet Dress (G8F version)

    Original Thread

    Matt_Castle said:

    Moving this over here from a Commons about adding new fits to clothing, this package includes additional fits for the G8F version of the dForce Trumpet Dress, adding Aiko, Alexandra, Charlotte, Edie, Ellithia, Eva, Gia, Girl, Karyssa, Latonya, Mabel, Mika, Mrs Chow, Sakura & Tasha to the supported body shapes. (The other DO shapes either seemed to work okay, or I haven't got those character shapes yet).

    I've not exhaustively tested these, but if you do find any glaring errors where the fabric is still completely creased or there's badly distorted textures, flag them up and I can try to fix them.

    As these fits were made with the support of DestinysGarden, it's possible that more official fixes may come for the dress in time; if an update for the dress later shows up in your Install Manager, I would recommend removing the contents of this package (which can be done by removing the Matt_Castle folder from your \data\Aave Nainen\Clothing\Trumpet Dress\Morphs\ directory).

    Genesis 8 Centaur dForce Clothing Aids

    Original Thread

    Matt_Castle said:

    This pack includes morphs to help simulate dForce dresses, skirts and long t-shirts to fit Daz3D's Genesis 8 Centaurs, hopefully considerably increasing the clothing available to these figures.

    As a bonus, there is also an additional projection morph included for the Female Centaur that should dial in automatically with RawArt's Annicellea morph, to correct the issues she has with clothes that cross the geograft boundary and improve the overall clothing fit on her morph. This should also function well with non-dForce clothing, but note that it will need to be manually dialled out in the parameters of most geografts. (It has already been disabled for the centaur geograft).

    ~~~~~
    CHANGELOG:
    V1.0 (2021-10-07): Female Centaur morphs
    V2.0 (2021-10-17): Male Centaur morphs added
    ~~~~~

    FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS:

    Probably nothing more for this pack, but I am looking into making JCMs to increase the flexibility of the centaurs.

    ~~~~~
    INSTALLATION:
    As usual for manual installation of Daz Studio content, the "data" folder included should be installed at the base level of a Daz Studio content directory.
    For reliability of installation, everything has been packaged as one to make it more foolproof, but if you don't have one or other of the products this supports (Genesis 8 Female Centaur, Genesis 8 Male Centaur, Annicellea for Genesis 8 Female Centaur), then do a search in the extracted package and remove the following folder names (and their children)
    To remove the:
    ... Female Centaur morphs, search for "G8Female Centaur"
    ... Male Centaur morphs, search for "G8Male Centaur"
    ... Annicellea projection morphs, search for "Annicellea"
    ~~~~~

    USAGE:

    There should be three accessible sliders on the Female Centaur geograft under Actors/Simulation/StrangeMatter:

    - Centaur Clothing Sim 1
    - Centaur Clothing Sim 2
    - Centaur Clothing Sim 2 Adjust

    The two main Clothing Sim options fold up and move the centaur body in different ways, and may work better for different purposes. However, fundamentally, the intention is that they move the Centaur Body out of the way of the clothing at the start of the simulation.

    They require timeline simulation (i.e. "Frames to Simulate" must be set to one of the Animated options. This is particularly true as the centaur geografts do not have a memorised pose by default, and don't respond properly to "Simulate from Memorised Pose", which should be off).
    This should be started from a zeroed pose at Frame 0 with one or other of the simulation sliders set to 100%.
    The desired pose should be set at Frame 30, with the simulation sliders faded out to 0%

    "Centaur Clothing Sim 2 Adjust" is used to move the centaur body backwards and forwards in conjunction with the "Sim 2" slider in order to correct any clipping in the starting frame of the simulation. It is set up to fade out with the main slider, so its effect will only be apparent when the Sim 2 slider is active and it does not need to be manually keyframed by the user.

    Dforce Gris Swimsuit for G8F

    Original Thread

    Matt_Castle said:

    The Twitter challenge I originally made my version of this meme swimsuit for is long since a memory, but as I got it out again for Renderosity's 3rd Annual Swimsuit Contest, I've decided to release this as a freebie.
    (And yes, I know there's another version out there, but I feel mine is better!)

    Multi Bulge for G8M, G8F and G9

    Original Thread

    Matt_Castle said:

    A while back, I ran into the issue that most of the groin bulge morphs for Genesis figures fall into one of two main categories - vague shapes that only look right under thick clothing, or more defined shapes of utterly gargantuan proportions and only one pose.

    So, I ended up creating an adjustable groin bulge for G8/G8.1 and G9 - both male and female are supported on G8 (either for transgender characters or cases where you need to use the other base for technical reasons).

    These morphs are only intended for use under clothing, as they don't actually add any geometry, just morph the figure - but controllers allow adjusting of the strength, length and position of the bulge, as well as separate adjustment of testes size/prominence.

    The various controllers are called "SM Gens Bulge" and can be found under Actor/Hip/SM Gens Bulge.

    More details can be found in the included readme.

    Torso UVs for Genesis 9 Anatomical Elements

    Original Thread

    Matt_Castle said:

    I won't be surprised if someone else has already done the same, but some time ago I created UV sets for the Genesis 9 Anatomical Elements that allow them to use texture/surface settings from the torso, and it seems other people have a need for the same reasonably often, so I'm sharing them here.

    Obviously, there are limitations, particularly regarding stretched textures on the male anatomy (no geoshell overlays such as those used by 3rd party anatomies are provided), but it will at least provide something that matches without seaming issues if a character does not come with their own textures for the elements.

    If you wish to take it further, you can use these UVs to go through Map Transfer to put the textures on the elements' own UVs, and then use an image editing tool to mask in/colour match the textures from another character to provide the missing details.

    https://www.mediafire.com/file/f0jsj3th9sogvl5/G9M_Genitals_Torso_UVs_20230927.zip

    In any case, please don't post renders of you using these, I'm probably on shaky enough ground posting these as they are.

    Pseudoclones for Centaur 8 Female

    (No original thread, was posted in some other thread somewhere I can't be bothered to find)

    These are clone shapes that provide Centaur 8 Female the ability to auto-fit Horse 2 or Horse 3 assets (here Rina is wearing https://www.daz3d.com/costume-set-for-horse-3 with textures from https://www.daz3d.com/versatility-for-costume-set-for-daz-horse-3), although technical limitations mean that their usage is somewhat more involved than standard autofit - instructions are in the included Readme.

    I may update these at some point to include Centaur 8 Male and Centaur 9, or indeed adapt my shapes from converting from Dog 8, but no promises.

    Genesis 9 Feminine Nipple Position Morphs

    In response to persistent complaints in a thread about where G9F's nipples were positioned/pointing, I created these morphs to allow users to move their position on the chest.

    Water Park Slide Add-ons

    ... and finally getting to something new and the reason I was consolidating the threads.

    I like Modu8's Water Park product, but was a bit disappointed by the curved slides being bone dry, so it took me a long time to get around to adding water to the slide and doing a scene with it.

    In this back, you get smart propped water that runs the whole way down the slides...

    ... and also the water outlets I made but ended up ultimately not using:

    You also get a morph that slightly changes the shape of the slide (I felt the original shape had some of its turns banked the wrong way and was liable to have people hit their heads on some of the infrastructure, as well as a matching morph for the water.

    It does not come with the fine splashes from the render (those are individually posed splash props) or the foam (which is applied via a geoshell using a material from one of KindredArts's sets - https://www.daz3d.com/iray-foam-and-bubbles or https://www.daz3d.com/wetfx-decal--shader-kit - I forget which). However, the water has a simple top down UV projection, so should reasonably take any seamless material or geoshell without issue. (By default, the water uses a bump map from the set's ground plane, which actually works well enough).
