DAZ Dragon 3 doesn't work in Poser 13

Hello everyone.
I bought DAZ Dragon 3 with almost everything that comes with it. Today I wanted to use it for an elf, but nothing happens.

I keep getting this message:

Screen here: https://ibb.co/dwN3TbW0

The DAZ importer for Poser is installed.
I also dragged the dragon directly into Poser, but it doesn't work there either.
Unfortunately, there is no geometry folder where the figure could be located.
I also installed the DAZ Installation Manager, but nothing helps.
I'm really sad that I bought something I absolutely can't use.

Described: Scope of delivery and features

DAZ Dragon 3 figure: (.DUF and .CR2)

A CR2 file would be in the geometry folder, which unfortunately doesn't exist.

Can someone here help me use the dragon?

Thanks in advance,
Corinna

The DSON importer plugin doesn't work in Poser 12 or 13 due to the change of Python version Poser uses. The last wersion it works in is Poser 11.

Dragon 3 doesn't include a full poser version, only companion files to use with the DSON importer (and for the record, a cr2 file would not be located in the geometry folder, it would be somewhere under Runtime/Libraries/Character)

It's a TriAx figure so maybe loading it in DS and using the cr2 exporter would work to create a "full" cr2 which works in P13.

Thank you, unfortunately the DSON importer just caused my Poser to crash. I removed it from all folders so my Poser works again.

It's a shame, it was a lesson learned. I'll be more careful about what I buy in the future. I was dazzled by cute dragons.

    Have a nice day!

As I said you can try exporting as cr2 from DS.

And if it still doesn't work you can get your money back (open a ticket to sales support in Help center)

I don't have DAZ and don't want to install it because of the dragons. But thanks!
I'll try to get my money back.
If not, I've learned my lesson and need to pay more attention.

    Thanks again!

There's a 30 days moneyback guarantee so you should be able to get a refund if you purchased it recently.

I bought a bunch of stuff from Daz and had a similiar problem. The files all have a DS and a PoserCF version.  I installed the items that have a Poser version into my Poser 13. I checked that the dson importer was installed in the daz install manager.  When I tried to call them up in Poser, I got an error message about the DLL load failed. So I guess some of us will have to try that DS trick later, even though I really wanted to just use Poser, not have to learn Daz Studio. Sigh.

Same here. I like the new figures in DAZ but I am using Poser and will not quit to use :)

If there is a Genesis or something other I want to use in Poser, I load it into DAZ, poser it, morph it, maybe dress it and export the whole thing as obj and import the obj into Poser. It is static but for my needs absolutely ok.:) I really love to combine multiple characters in DAZ, this is a bit more fun than in Poser :)

DSON Importer does not work in Poser 12 or 13 due to incorrect Python version.

I wish DAZ woudl open-source it as they did with the Blender, Unity and Unreal Bridges...
