Glad it worked, mermaid.
It's strange sometimes the forum has it's own mind.
Try again later.
Infinitely interesting renders, Teobaldo! I always love works that are on the edge of real and abstract.
Krickerd, what a wonderful set of renders. The cabin is my favourite, must have been a lot of work to prepare and render.
Beautiful quiet place you created, mermaid010.
Horo, the lake in the rocky landscape is probably very salty, otherwise some vegetation might be expected. But it is a wonderful render.
I made a scene with a landscape with a terrain (plateaux) from one of the sets with high resolution terrains (Horo and David B), a panther from DAZ and a static hare prop. The vegetation is from the Pro Vegetation (again by David and Horo) and three of them have been instanced multiple times. The sky is from the example two from the sunless HDRI set.
krickerd - Mysterious tower is wonderful ! Mountain landscape is superb ! Hope you get the Mordor render uploaded !
Horo - Rocky landscape with a lake is absolutely fabulous !
Hansmar - Landscape & Hare is excellent !
Quickie from me - downloaded a heap of freebies from Fab and Sketchfab.
Witchiepoo.
Just a doodle messing with the Zorch fractal. Dominator models from DAZ. Enhancements in GIMP.
I commented on this earlier. Had to open the original and re-export for some reason.
Hansmar - thank you. Beautiful landscape render with the vegetation.
Bunyip02 - thank you. Cute Witchiepoo scene.
krickerd - Nicely done Zorch render, looks like a science fiction scene. The Land of Mordor is a very well done scene.
Thanks Hansmar, beautiful landscape, love how you used the vegetation.
Bunyip02 - very nice scene.
Krickerd - love the atmosphere in both your scenes, awesome effects.
krickerd - Dominator scene is fantastic ! Mordor scene is stupendous !
Horo - Thanks !
Mermaid - Thanks !
Spaceship
Quickie with a few farm items to go with the shed/house.
Bunyip02 - nice looking farm, cool spaceship! Magician near house is also cute (isn't grass a bit too close though?)
krickerd - I like that landscape with dragon in purple tones :)"Red" scene is also nice ("Total Recall" or "Riddick"?)
Hansmar - nice "flora & fauna" scene! Also please check the message I've sent.
Horo - an astonishingly beautiful lake view!
mermaid010 - your scene makes me calm :)
Teobaldo - glad to see you again! And nice "cosmic" renders! Congratulations with finishing the novel as well!
Thanks Bunyip.
Bunyip02 - great spaceship. Did you model it in Carrara? The scene with the farm has yet potential for a great scene.
Past as Future - thank you, always nice to see you here..
The terrain is from Gritstone Hills with the material Bryce Pro Material Tau Variant by David Brinnen. The water is a 2D-Face with my own material. Sky, colours and ambient light by an HDRI from Hyper Textures Base. Additional light and specular by the sun.
Past as Future - Thanks ! These renders were just quickies, will revisit them at some stage.
Horo - Thanks ! Spaceship is a freebie by Ebal Studios at Fab - Spaceship Modular Star Sparrow - https://www.fab.com/listings/932ce79b-06e8-416a-ba0d-36435621a0a1
Will revisit the farm scene at some stage, was just fleshing out ideas, got a more complex scene in mind - if the computer memory does not cause it to crash ! Gritstone Hills scene is awesome - love the ridge effects !
Bunyip02 - very nice spaceship scene and the shed/house is simple yet lovely.
Past as Future - thanks
Horo - another superb unique landscape.
krickerd: Grandma's house is very nice; it has a nice rustic, country feel. I like the angle of the scene in the mysterious tower. The lake's location on the shore is ideal for setting up camp and enjoying nature. The fractal Zorch has a nice reddish Martian atmosphere. Mordor looks spooky, especially with the flying dragon.
mermaid010: The island in the lake is beautiful (or so I imagine it), it's a place that invites you to relax.
Horo: The lake looks very beautiful; I'd love to ride my mountain bike through a landscape like that. The other lake between the mountains has an excellent clay model feel.
Hansmar: I love the lighting contrast between the terrain and the sky.
Bunyip02: The Witchiepoo is nice, somewhat simple, and reminds me of old video games, just like the farm.
Thanks Teobaldo. It was fun dusting off the cobwebs.
Thanks Teobaldo
Mermaid - Thanks !
Teobaldo - Thanks ! Sometimes simple is a great concept - K.I.S.S. principle !
The terrain is from RajRaja’s Bryce Atmo - modified, materials for the terrain and water from Terrain Stacking and lighting is from the same set. The eagle a freebie.
Thank you Bunyip02 and Teobaldo.
mermaid - thank you. Peaceful scene with the calm water around the island and the eagle - probably looking for a fish.
Thanks for your praise / comments, Bunyip02, Horo, mermaid010, Past as Future, Teobaldo.
Bunyip02, nice Wichiepoo render. Maybe the ground is a tad dark. Lovely spaceship render and great toon-like farm render.
Krickerd, Nice dark 'Zorch' render; looks like a sci-fi picture of Mars to me. And your Mordor render clearly shows it to be a dangerous place.
That is a landscape render that borders the abstract with this texture, Horo. Another (less realistic) sky would show a really abstract render, I think.
Great land/sea render, mermaid010. Love the reflection of the mountains in the sea.
I used the sunless example (same as last time) again in a landscape render. Don't remember what terrain this is, but probably from Horo and David Brinnen, just like the textures. Added a flying object and a spiraliser object to give it a bit extra.
Hansmar - thank you, yes, my volcano render has a bit of an cartoonish tint. Your newest work has very great looking stony islands and a nice sea.
Thanks Horo and Hansmar
Hansmar - the material go well together in this scene, nice addition of the flying object and the spiral object.
mermaid010: The scene with the eagle is very pretty; the water reflects like a mirror.
Hansmar: The result without the sun is good; lighting can completely change a scene, and the added objects fit well.
Now I'm adding a render I titled "Monster in Space":
In dark regions of strange universes there are creatures that drift through space, mysterious and elusive.
This 720p version took just over an hour to complete without antialiasing, so a 1080p version with regular or super fine will have to wait some time.
Thanks Teobaldo, the sci-fi scene with the monster is awesome
Teobaldo - cool idea and well done scene. I hope the monster is not about to visit the earth.
Terrain and material are from Gritstone Hills. The rain is from a rain-cube from Environments - Inclement Weather. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from Terrain Stacking and the key light by the sun.
