Thanks Horo, I don't know Alymac, I think Electro-Elvis mentioned him/her and I downloaded some of their stuff. Now I glad I did as Share CG is no more.

The pencils are modelled with Bryce. The light comes from a Cube Dome Light. Though I used a quality of 1350, there is still a banding in the shadows noticable. But to at least have a reasonable render time I didn't increase the value any further. The floor has a bit of reflection softened with a very small amount of bump. Rendered with TA with 36 RRP. In comparison I uploaded an very old pic from 2009, which also presented pencils. I remember, that I worked quite long on this picture, foremost on the modelling of the hexagonal pencils :-)

    Bunyip02 - thank you.

Electro-Elvis - simple scene but definitely superbly well done pencils and beautifully presented (the hexagonal ones as well).

Nice landscape renders, mermaid010 (also the seascape with HDRI) and Horo. And great abstracts too from both of you.

Good work, Nullcasting, I like the POV that provides enormous depth to this render.

Electro-elvis, your pencils look very sharp indeed! Hard to believe this is all 3D.

I made two renders with the Urban ruins set. In one of them I added a Space Merc based on Genesis 3 and a Venom whip (the animal). In the background some simple mountain. In the second one, I multiplied the Urban ruins a couple of time, but deleted the man, animal and mountains. Different skies/lighting too.

Hansmar - thank you. Not actually nice scenes but very well done, the light is particularly nice on the first one but also very good on the second one.

The terrain is from Gritstone Hills with a material from Landscapes under Fantastic Skies. The building is the Mars Base by Drachenlords, a tiny bit modified, and the aircraft AH-9100 is by Phillip Drawbridge. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from HDRI Enhanced Skies and the key light by the sun.

I'm so impressed.  Nullcasting, at first glance I thought that your wind turbines were a photograph.  Everyone's work is fabulous.  Thanks for sharing.

The terrains were self-made, terrain materials from the preset, the water material is one of Horo’s, the other objects and sky from the Space Construction Kit.

mermaid - cool space scene, very nicely done planet with the pink atmosphere that looks a bit like leaving the volcano.

    Hansmar - thank you.

The terrain is from Gritstone Hills with a modified material from High Resolution Terrains 2. Sky and ambient light by an unpublished HDRI, cumulus clouds and the key light by the sun.

The Old Barn.  Haven't used Bryce in a long time.  Got the hankering.  Most assets are Bryce defaults with slight tweaking.  3 separate renders, 2 using image planes since instances can't be masked.  Barn from the web.  Post in GIMP.

I took an example from the set of sunless HDRI skies, swapped a terrain for a different one, added a Hydra monster and two items (one multiple times) from the space construction set.
