    ....so is it just me or has Daz permanently reduced the base discount from 50% to 40 % for Artist Stores and other promos?

     Yeah. So far. The 30% off new get extra 20% (effectively 44%) for two or more. Has been around most days as well.

    ...well that is going to limit participation particularly if you now need two New Releases for an extra discount on other promotions and/or the daily Artists stores 

    Yeah, these sales are definitely no longer for the more "budget minded", even if you have tokens.

    Hello,

    I'm not sure I understand how today's sale's 'Epic phases of savings' feature works. I'm inclined to believe that buying a new release from today's offerings will bring additional savings in tomorrow's sale. And that by keeping buying a new featured release in each of the following days the savings for the customer keep improving. Is it like that or are the rest of the phases reserved for later today and not for the following days?

    EDIT: Kind of answering my own question. According to Chris Palomino in the reporting issues thread, it would seem that the so called phases would actually match the different deals that are on the table today.

    its a strange one indeed. I'm not about to buy one of the EPIC new releases to test this to see how it works. I can get 60% off a Featured Artist Store item using the coupon code. I can get 80% off 3 items from Featured Artist Store by buying 1 new Epic releae, plus it adds another 30% off the new release. Neither of the other two offers work ...but it says if you OWN an Epic New Release, so I'm thinking you need to buy a new one, then on the next purchase you can get 70& off 5 or 80% off a WL items--or how many it states by using the coupon code included there. 

    Tokens do work

    If you add an Outlet item to a cart with an Epic release, then the Epic release and any Epic artist listed products decrease by 10%.

    Form what I understand you should be able to:

    • buy one Epic artist item alone for 60% off with the coupon
    • buy only Epic new releases at the regular 30% off
    • buy Epic new releases with at least one Epic artist item, and get an extra 30% Epic new releases and 80% off up to 3 Epic Artist items

    Then if you have bought one Epic new release, afterwards you should be able to buy up to 5 artist items at 70% off, or 80% off if they were in your wishlist

    Has anyone purchased an Epic New Release to test the last part up above to get the 70 or 80% off?

    Doesnt work for me i own one epic new relase, but cannot make the 5 item to 70%. The 80 % wishlisted worked but if i put something in my cart i cannot have anything of epic store go on 70% discount

    Which PA did you use for 70%, Ive done 2 of the phases - bought a New Epic, bought an item and used PHASE-SER-STUN, but the one item in my wishlist that qualifies for FINAL-WISH, and is listed as part of the deal, is still 100% value.

    I buy one of Koo new epic (Koo angélique Hd) and then buy 3 epic and one wishlisted item with the Final wish coupon wich worked for the 80%

    Everyone seems very confused by the phases. Some people seem to think that buying a new Epic today will allow them to build up bigger and bigger discounts in later phases (by buying the "new" stuff in that phase too). As far as I can tell, the "unlock" mentioned in the sale is just the "If you own an Epic item" box you see on the right. Future phases will have a similar "If you own" box. So where it says you will get an early unock, all it means is that in the future phases you would immediately have access to the 70% or 80% saving rather than being stuck with the 60% saving until you buy an Epic item (and that's what makes it an "early" unlock)

After english is not my native language and i m new to Daz so i kinda dont understand that phase thing ^^

    The first thing I thought (aside from "what the heck?") when I saw today's offer was "So I'm supposed to buy one and then trust the rest of the sale is coded correctly and it will work for further discounts? Yeah, no."

    I'll just gather some tokens by knocking off the rest of the outlet items on my WL and call it an uncomplicated, successful day.

    I think somone messed up the times. It stopped working 45 min ago. I even got a notfication at cart page it was going to expire.

    Todays sale is so bad, I cannot believe it. Says new Epic plus Epic artist would give extra 30% + 80%. Not working!

    I was looking forward to get KOOs Angelique. Had her and 3 epic artist items in cart.
    Now those epic artist items are only 30% off.
    We are in what phase of this epic b****** sale?
    Home says 3, promo page says 4.
    Could get Angelique for $6,85 in a $15 cart with 5 outlet items and one DAZ original from that epic stuff. Or Angelique on her own for $12.24.
    Guess what. I won't buy anything.

    ...and there's a 5.99 flash sale as well though you need a "new release" over 1.00 for the 3.99 price, pity (like the last time a "new release" cost around 1.00 was 18 years ago and that was old PC pricing)..

    As to the "Epic" sale, from what I understand  It comes down to having to purchase two Epic New Releases to get the advantage of all the discounts . Too "rich" for his budget particularly as I am not big on G9 or HDRIs..

    I joined the Premium membership recentlfy, and got all  excited for a bit.

    I looked at the less confusing sales and bought a few items.

    I just get more confused with new sales.

    That's ok. I ran out of money for this month.

    As promised, I I showed the main https://www.daz3d.com/fg-everyday-librarian-outfit promo to Actual Librarians from the library where my husband & I volunteer.

    Reactions: Assorted WTF expressions. "Impractical!" "What planet/reality are [modelers] living on?" "That's really...inappropriate... for working with children." The last comment may or may not have been followed by a silent "Or anybody else." All of which are in line with my thought - "Do people not know how much time we spend atop step stools? Or sitting on the floor?"

    And my exchange with the one male librarian: Him: "Don't they have one for the men?" Me: "Uh, no and I don't want to ask what they would wear." Him: "A vest. It would have to be a vest."

    Not working for me. I have an epic new release and an epic artist item in the cart. 51% off the new release as expected. But the older artist item has no discount at all.

    hmm..now my discount left the building on the 3 PA items in cart .... the Epic new release is discounted though. Oh well..that's it for this sale.

    Yeah samesies despite it worked before I went to work. Having a deja vu of the mysteriously changed wishlist sale from last week.

    Ninjaedit: Okay i think I figured it out. The keywords  "Current" and "Recent" do the heavy lifting. The icons below the two big buttons belong to the "Current" group, while the "Recent" can be reached by clicking on the recent button and the 85% discount indeed applies there. I mean it wouldn't be the daz store if it was not confusing/lowkey misleading. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    It is not fixed. I refreshed the page, cleared the cart and re-added everything, no discounts are being applied.
