AFAIK they're not available for purchase anymore. And no, products for them are not compatible with M3/V3, though there are "V2 to V3" and "M2 to M3" variants of V3 and M3 that can wear their clothes.

Agreed. The earliest still available DAZ human is V3. As Leanna says, there is a V3 varient that can wear V2 clothes, and she's part of the V3 download. The download files are given as:

    VICTORIA 3.0 FIGURE FILES

    • V3 CR2 and OBJ
    • V3 to V2 Cr2 and OBJ
      • Backwards Compatibility for use with V1/V2:
        • Poses
        • Clothing and Accessories
        • Maps
        • Compatible with V3 Head Morphs
    • V3 Blank CR2

    Hope that helps.

Hmm, going off at a tangent now: Need to check this, but if the 'V3 to V2 CR2' has the same number of facets & vertices, it means a TriAxed version of V3 created using my tutorial could wear the vanishingly small number of V1 & V2 clothes I have. /*Tangent finished.*/

    Regards,

    Richard

Form memory, "V3 to V2" is made from the V3 mesh, with the head kept "as is" and the body morphed and re-rigged to match V2.

That's good, will have to add V1/V2. Also, as M3 is a morph of the same unimesh, and as the 'M3 to M2 CR2' is in the M3 base download, it should be possible to add M1 & M2 clothing compatibility to TriAx V3. Not that I actually have any M1/M2 clothing as I didn't drop 'The Dork' until after getting M3 in Jan 2005 - 'The Dork' fulfilled the only male role I wanted perfectly with both his name and look. Bewildered Male characters have long had rings run around them by the female characters in my images - just as happens in real life.

    Regards,

    Richard

Edited to add: If you start using the Generation 3 or earlier characters, it would be fantastic to see more renders added to the The older generation: Victoria 2/3, Michael 2/3 and their children renders thread.

If you have M3 or V3 clones on any of the later figures, you can use the M3M2 shape or the V3V2 shape to create M2 and V2 clones for those figures.

Here is some V2 clothing on G8F figures:
