Typical response time for a PA application?

Hello people,

I applied for becoming a PA on 26th April. I did everything the application form asked for - included promo pics for a finished product, provided some additional work in progress stuff with wireframe view, etc. I uploaded over 20 images, filled out the "About you" and "Tell us about your product" sections. Just wondering, how long is the wait time to hear back from the DAZ team?

cheers :)

I'm not a PA, but I'd certainly imagine the answer is "more than a single business day".

  • Hi,

The review team meet weekly - so if you uploaded at the weekend give it till the end of the week and you should here back.

    Cheers

  • Thanks for the info :) I'm gonna check the PA status during the weekend then

I finally attempted to join through thte "PA Portal", sent two programs for Daz Studio,13 pictures of what they do. But that was on 9/2/26 and it's now been 28 days. Am I doing this correct? I did go back, updated things, saved it, but it's still "Status: Images Pending Approval"

Belatedly moved to Art Studio since it isn't about the Daz Studio application.

    Thanks Richard!

Wish someone who tried to become a PA would chime in with their experiences.

Are you talking about PASS when you say PA Portal? If its PASS did you click submit at the top of the page?

    Hi Mada!

I must have missed that as I have not seen that menu anywhere within the Daz3d.com site.
Could you tell me the steps you take to get to that location?

    For me:
    1) I logged into my Daz3D account.
    2) Went to "My Account"
    3) Went to "Vendor Tools" and only see

    Application History

    Status: Images Pending Approval

I know it says "Images Pending Approval" but this is where someone else told me to go to sign up to be a published artist and sell products.

Are you approved as a vendor? It sounds like it if you have access to vendor tools on your accounts page. The only way I now to get a product in the store is through PASS - but the pipeline might have changed since then.

I am not yet an approved Vendor. I searched and see the login for PASS here:
    https://pass.daz3d.com/login

But, I cannot log in. I guess I just have to wait to see if they approve me as a PA. Again, I submitted to become a "Published Artist" on 9/2/26. Perhaps Daz3D is just dying? No new vendors are allowed? I'm not sure since no one seems to have reached out to me yet.

I found this page... all I can suggest is to follow the process on that page?. :)

You should have applied via https://www.daz3d.com/pa/apply , which I assume you did based on what you described.

In terms of timelines, I can only speak for my own singular experience which took a little over 1 month from submission to approval (11 months ago)

I think it still comes down to the type of products offered and the quality of the promo images  for that product that the aspiring pA  offers as a first submission.

My own personal experience, I was contacted within 14 hours. but that was a different era,  but even with that first product  I had decent promo images and a unique enough product  that stood out at the time.
