Any tips for improving the look of a poser made v4/m4 skin surface in studio?

I am looking for tips to make skins for v4/m4 which are poser specific look better in studio. I am not very good at tweaking surfaces. And prefer to render in 3delight.  Thanks for suggestions.

 

0h in particular some skins are ultra glossy in studio or quite red in nature.
