So I made a new character.  Saved the character as a scene subset as I have thousands of times. Character does not show up in my scene subset menu. Had to save the scene with the character so that I could load in other things into her scene instead of loading her into the scene itself.  Never had to do this until the "update".  I started using this program and actually (yes I know it's hard to believe) paying.. PAYING... For assets back in 2019.  But now my scene isn't in the scene  subset folder in the program itself. Instead I have to open my actual program file folder to load the subset scene into the program itself.  I only know to do this because I've been working with this program for so long I know the ins and outs.  But the fact of the matter is this... Every single day that I open this program up in 2025 there's a new [annoying] bug or some [irritant] that I have to deal with.  I'm about to the point where I'm going to go over to AI generated imagery.. because this [annoying] program combined with the over priced assets is nothing but total [an annoymance] and it's going to bury itself within the next 3 years.  I'm sick to death of this [irritating] program.

Did you save that scene subset somewhere under "Program files" (since you mentioned opening "Program files")?

Because that's usually not where content is installed since that is a protected folder, so you saving a scene there if your content directories are usually somewhere else would explain why it would not appear with the others...

    Which Scene Subset "menu"?

To save a Character Subset, you can save it anywhere you like it.

    File, Save as

As long as the file is there you can load it later, in Daz 3D, there are many folders.

Scene Subsets can be found in X:\DAZ 3D\My DAZ 3D Library (Where the X represent the Drive letter of your Daz 3D installed content.

Choose any folder you like or create one, then save it withing DAZ 3D\My DAZ 3D Library.

The next time you open Daz Studio you can find it, that's all.

I do not see a problem using Daz Studio, but if you want to use AI, then look elswhere; I don't like using AI and many members here do not use it as well.
