shouldn't he have little heads in the tips of his fingers and toes?
I tried to get DAZ Ai to do that, it blurred one and others were just toes WITH toes
Walt, I found your series on YouTube, it's awesome... It must of taken you a while to get all that together, well done
Thanks!
The two 3D episodes took a little too long because DAZ doesn't support their Mimic lip sync in 64-bit, which meant making lip sync poses on my old 2012 iMac then moving them to a newer machine to apply the poses and render them; as well, the newer systems could no longer load audio into the DAZ files so I couldn't easily edit the facial animations and reactions; as well, I could no longer export a movie file but had to render out individual frames, join them afterward and then add the audio. Ironically, before putting my old iMac into storage I tested it one more time and found that it's capable of doing the lip sync in 32-bit, then opening the files in the 64-bit version and editing the scene (with audio playing) and exporting the rendered scene in a single large movie file, with sound. The only drawback is that the OpenGL renders aren't as good a quality as when they're rendered in newer operating systems. I'm eager to see what DAZ Stuio 2025 can do and will probably return to 3D animation once it's out.
The 2D episodes used Cartoon Animator and took three or four weeks to put the assets together (I cut corners by using stock heads, but everything else is original) and the episodes themselves were done weekly, 10 minutes of animation in about 20 hours each. The software was so easy to use, it was more fun than work to play with. Of course, as soon as I finished those episodes off (40+ minutes in four weeks) Reallusion announced that they were dropping Mac support. I'd been starting to make original heads when the announcement came out and that dampened any enthusiasm I had at the time, but it was still a lot of fun making new assets in PhotoShop Elements.
Speedwise, that must seem glacial to a wizard who hammers out incredible 3D characters from a cube in what seems like minutes to me.
A couple of movements of the mouse and in seconds something Wacky appears !!!
Great stuff, as always!
I guess everyone is seeing the CGI blister packs swamping the internets.....
from the cube I modelled the Carrara Blister Pack ... I may do some morphs on it to cater for different shapes and see what everyone can come up with..
Love 'em! I'm enjoying the Tic Tac Toebees way more than I probably should. I'm not sure what that says about me, but they are fun!
pretty good
from a cube to a Scottish Haggis Whisky House
boned and morphed
the blister pack from a cube with shape morphs on the blisters!
it's in the zip file ... for you to play with and show us your blister pack renders
you'll need your fav image software to create the blister pack image to suit
Wow! Absolutely amazing!
You really should start looking at selling some of your Wacky creations as toon props in the DAZ store. I know I'd buy 'em.
unfortunately the store is DAZ Studio centric these days
Unless Stezza crosses over to the dark side like I have while still dipping a toe in Carrara
I was thinking in terms of DAZ Studio props; his toon props only need to be .obj files imported into DAZ Studio with textures or shaders applied for DAZ Studio rendering. I mean, no one's making mesh products *in* DAZ Studio, everyone's using actual modelling programs, like Cararra. He'd still need both feet planted firmly in Carrara to make the meshes.
the darkside

the template to help you out if so desired..
resist the darkside

note: just used Carrara's texture room to create the starry bit and Carrara's text tool... no image software was used.
Greatest movie misquote of all time - ‘Luke, I am your father!’
Absolutely brilliant, as always!
Pop culture mastery! Way to go, Stezza.
+ 1
from the cube I modelled Albo... a buddy for Dutto....
if you know you know.
Isn't that a Pluto Pup?
Or... was that a Dippy Dog?
a vending machine full of MadCatLady action figures
plastic cats are Vyusur (Veronika's) Cat Zeus and Sphynx addon
MadCatlady is my Tripo3D Ai Mesh
Vending machine from Carrara Browser
and of course Stezza's Blister Pack
Awesome! Now I want one at the local mall.
yep, in your part of the world they call them that... here, downunder however
how much awesomeness is that!
we need more blister pack renders lol
today, using cubing and ovalating tools in Carrara to get this one up and about....
... space ship, a giant space ship! I mean, what else *could* it look like?
Great ship, The world needs more space ships.
lol
based on Bezos flying machine
more of the blister pack
