Got the last of our supplies this morning, Woolies was out of water and long life milk - Spar was out of long life milk and was restricting bread to two loaves per customer.

Last minute tidy up scheduled for tomorrow morning asumming it's not raining cats and dogs.

Thanks Wendy, Alfie is way way north of me and we will only get the after effects of it in several days time with some lingering rain. @Bunyip02 though is right in the firing line and better have his tiedowns, wellies and brollie on hand! surprise

Spar must be a Queensland thing, we don't have it and I've never heard of it before. Must be like IGA

I'm about an hours drive inland from the coast so will not get it as bad as the coasties will get it, forecast for us of 40 to 80mm of rain per day. Still preps are done to be on the safe side, gutters and rainwater tank inlets were full of leaves, cleaned them out this morning.

Spar is our local supermarket and yes it is much like IGA, roast chickens from there are nice !!!

Stay safe, guys. With changing climate patterns, I'm always worried that yesterday's "Firing line" might edge their way closer to your homes.

@headwax I remember to this day when Brother Bell stood at the front of my first form class rocking on his heels and saying "boring stuff this Latin, you'll probably never use it!"
