Eyelid problem with conversions G8>G9 v. G9>G8

Just curious: Why does this problem only appear when I convert G8(.1) to G9 but won't appear in the opposite direction?

I am using manual conversions following Jay Versluis' method but tried ManFriday's converter as well. With same results obviously.

Yes, especially with Pose Controls of Eyes Closed, Eye Blink... because the joints / weight maps related to Eyelids on G8 are much complex than G9. (ss 1 ~ 2)

No mattter the way you use, i.e. Fit Suit method or ManFriday's script, they basically use the same way of transferring weight with Clones... so the result will almost the same ~~

Edit: However, there'll be also imperfection / deformation related to Eyelids... in the cases of converting G9 to G8... just to different extent depending the character morphs. I usually have to fix them in both of the cases to make them more perfect.

That's actually very interesting, because it may explain why I find G9 expressions less convinving than G8's.

That's why I am converting G9 to G8 in the first place. Never would have thought that DAZ would simplify things from one generation to the next.
