Does anyone know of any product or outfit with decent, normal looking everyday belted jeans for G8F?

As per title - even with thousands (millions?) of add-ons for Genesis 8, some basics are still missing - and I think the most glaring omission are a pair of normal-looking jeans with a simple belt, something most women would wear to work or school in the real world.
Something like this:

https://www.shutterstock.com/image-photo/elegant-leather-brown-belt-on-metal-1895983771

It must be the single most widely used piece of women's apparel, and still I can't find anything remotely similar for Genesis 8 Female.

Does anyone know if such a product exists on the market for DAZ, here or anywhere else?

Looking for casual jeans pants with a belt for G8F, I found the following products:

    https://www.daz3d.com/riviera-noon-outfit-for-genesis-8-females
    https://www.daz3d.com/looking-back-outfit-for-genesis-8-female-s
    https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-ninties-nostalgia-wardrobe-for-genesis-8-females

You can find a wider variety of products if you don't limit your search to G8F. Jeans pants tend to Auto-Fit onto G8F quite naturally, even if they were originally designed for other figures.

Thanks - really appreciate, however these products represent the issue I'm talking about; most of the G8F jeans seem to be falling into one of three types: stupidly, barely pelvis covering low waisted; So high waisted they're nearly corsets and "baggy nappy effect". Also, for some reason the "rear side" always looks weird :/

The closest to what I'm looking are the Riviera Noon outfit ones...and they outside of the promo images, they have a bit of the the "nappy/diaper effect" :/

I'll take the suggestion of looking at some cross-figure solution, might actually be the best idea. Thanks again.

No idea if they will be high enough, but here the ones I found looking at my library, for jeans with belt:

https://www.daz3d.com/x-fashion-sophisticated-jacket-outfit (belt is an independant item)

    https://www.daz3d.com/cold-weather-outfit-for-genesis-8-female-s

    https://www.daz3d.com/looking-back-outfit-for-genesis-8-female-s

No belt but a bit higher on the hip, and with the thingies to hold the belt being modelled with a slight elevation (so maybe you can find a belt that'll work ? I can just say that the one from the X-Fashion Sophisticated outfit doesn't):

I've been looking for the same since G8 came out.  By far the best I've found so far until April 2nd is:

    https://www.daz3d.com/jeanz-for-genesis-3

    For G3, but Auto-Fits well to G8.

For Male as well as Female.

Has many options for Style (short, long, bell-bottom, etc.), Fit (tight, baggy, etc.), Pose (open, close, etc.).

I've never tried to dForce it - maybe someone else has?...

Updated April 2nd 2025: See posts below - I now think this is a better option for most purposes:

I went through what I own and I agree that https://www.daz3d.com/jeanz-for-genesis-3 is the best bet. It has a belt in the loops with a hide option.

But if you are not sure, here are two more choices of the closest 'real' looking jeans I know of:

https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-my-guy-jeans-and-shirt-for-genesis-8-male - I know for a guy, but that is what many women wore before good jeans were available for us.

https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-halter-top-and-jeans-for-genesis-8-females - I actually bought this outfit for the jeans and its texture set, https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-halter-top-and-jeans-textures. But while there are belt loops, no belt is included and I have no idea how you would add one. Honestly, not sure how many women wear belts as our curves don't interact easily with them. Unless you are stick thin. I tried wearing one of those wide belts in the 70s. Not fun or comfortable.

In my 70s now and I live in jeans and tees/sweaters/hoodies. Levi's are the best.

It is very surprising how diffult it is to find a nice pair of female jeans that fit right and follow the gentle curves of the female form.  Add to that finding realistic belt-loops,  a proper standard leather belt with a typical buckle,  and modelled front and back pockets  that actually look like they could accept a wallet or the fingers of a hand.  The finding the natural wrinkles that are common with cotton denim,  and the correct realistic raised stitching and the appropriate fading that comes from regular washing.   Definitely hard to find.

Levi's are definitely favorites.  I have found Wrangler's can take alot of abuse and multiple washes and holdup quite well.  I appreciate a jean that has earned its rips,  tears,  frays and fades.

Yeah, love a well-washed jean that has 'earned' its weathering. I can't understand those ripped jeans, espcially the ones where a 10 inch square has been removed from the thighs or knees and frayed out, torn bottom edges with threads hanging down, or other weird things going on with them. And they always cost so much more that a simple pair of jeans. And just make the women looks weird.

So |I had picked up a giftcard store credit a while back,  and given march madness is slowly coming to an end,  I went looking for a purchase,

Long story short,  I stumbled on this jeans and top set  that looks pretty good. Doesn't have a belt but does have some style and checks off some of my boxes.  Do with the information what you may.

Thanks for that heads-up!  I now have a new favorite.yes

I don't know how I missed that product - I've been waiting for Sue Yee to do a good pair of jeans for G8F.

So I've bought it and given it a quick test, and the jeans are almost exactly what I've been looking for: Good detail, good textures for close-ups, dForce-ready, and like all(?) SU's clothing products the mesh is regular quads and symmetrical which helps a lot when a bit of kit-bashing or DIY morphing is needed.

Now all I need is a similar-quality basic standard bra & pantie set for G8F from SU...

Anything from Sue Yee is good quality and works well, but some of it has gotten quite repetitive lately. Today there is a new winter outfit that looks nice.

The belt look nice. I suppose it's your own creation ?

  • felisfelis Posts: 5,725

Yes, it is my own creation.

    Are you interested in it?

    Yes :)

Felis, need you really ask? Your little freebies are great and it would be very useful to have a collected index somewhere for them. Regards, Richard.

Is there a current issue with uploads?

The file is 9 MB, but when I try it comes and say "No file data in your upload".

    I can upload images.

I got some cloudflare errors in the forums earlier so it might be linked.

  • richardandtracyrichardandtracy Posts: 7,077

The limit for an upload seems to be around 5Mb, so a 9Mb would be bigger than I'd expect to work.

    Regards,

    Richard

The site did have a cloudflare fail an hour ago for me too.  You might just want to retry later today to do an upload..

  • felisfelis Posts: 5,725

    Here it is.

It was the file size. So I changed it to an accessory instead of a wearable.

Besides the belt there is a morph for the pants to expand the belt straps. It is in morph loader pro (I was too lazy to move it).

    Let me know if issues.
