How much longer will Maxwell gpus be supported for gpu rendering on blender?

    As long as Blender supports CUDA and considering CUDA is the backbone of Nvidia GPU compute stuff I'd say so much longer I wouldn't worry about it. You have to remember CUDA is used in a bunch of places outside of 3D Rendering. It's not going anywhere anytime soon.

    Well the fermi architecture uses cuda cores as well but it is not supported from blender 2.8, so you see it's not cuda itself to make it work.
