..well the big transit day was interesting.  Really nice that riding was free all day. (wish that were the case every day).

The new tram line is actually rather quick.  Of course was rather crowded today with everyone riding it for the first time. If I end up in the part of town it serves would actually be pretty nice.

Didn't bother much with all the other festivities (8$ for a burger made from a frozen "hockey puck" patty, and 5$ for meh quality beer).   Ended up at the usual hangout in Hawthorne.  A good friend of mine recently had hip surgery and actually was able to make it over to visit for a while.  Actually a nice summery day. (didn't hit 90º)  Not too many to of those left go.

Warming up leftover pizza from last night, the neighbourhood market finally got the brand I like back in again after weeks of waiting, sausage and tomato with no pepperoni.

Oregon lost to Sparty (Michigan State), oh well, however, Wisky crushed their opponent 58 - 0 (with their star running back out with an injury) and Arsenal defeated Stoke  2 - 0.  Crystal Palace (Leela's team) ) is also in tyhe top five on the table.

All in all, a decent day, now to finish off a few scenes still in progress.

...looks like they did pretty well, winning 20 - 7.

Meanwhile, Green Bay's "youthful" defence looked off key most of the game. three offside penalties in one possession which kept a Chicago scoring drive alive, the worst coming on a field goal that gave "Da Bears" a second chance to score a TD (which they did).  Fortunately looked like a bit of adjustment was made in the second half, with Green Bay's Clay Matthews intercepting a Chicago pass and running the ball back the other way past midfield to set up a Packers TD that pretty much put the game away. Did get a little dodgy near the end as the defence went soft allowing Chicago to score a "garbage TD" after which the Da Bears did an onside kick.  Conjured up bad memories of that NFC championship with Seattle last year with the flubbed onside kick that the SeaSquawks recovered which effectively won them the game. However this time no mistakes, Green Bay recovered the kick and reserved the win.

    ..really nice.

Looks like you hit a nice niche with Bryce.

Battle of the top rookie QBs in Tampa.  So far Marcus Mariota (Ex Oregon) is winning the contest with 4 TDs vs' Jameis WIlson (Ex Florida State) with only 1 TD and two interceptions (one that was run back for a score). Titans up big at halftime 35 - 7.
