Maybe setting up shaping presets for your personal favorite combinations?
As suggested in your other thread, please submit a ticket.
Thanks.
Sorry for the late response. DAZ are looking into this and should be retesting today. I didn't have anything like the same results that are showing in the previous images, however there was a small area at the back of the mouth the had some minor deformation with a couple of bend morphs. These have been fixed just awaiting confirmation on the testing and the rebilding of the installers. Sometimes these things get past the QA procedure, apologies for any inconvenience this has caused.
Ok. Then I'll wait for update.
I have this product and out of interest tried a bunch of the hand morphs to see if they were affecting the teeth, but they didn't seem to for me. Strange.
Thanks for joining the thread, Predatron!
No individual morph causes the terrible teeth distortion on its own. It is a combination of the bend morphs that cause the issue in the image I posted. For example, dial all the left and right finger bend morphs to 100% at the same time. If you don't see the distorted teeth, then something is different about my installation.
Perhaps I am not using the product correctly, because there are a couple things I don't understand:
Why do the morphs not apply automatically as correction morphs when I pose the G3F hands? How am I supposed to figure out the correct setting to dial for each hand and finger pose? I thought they would behave like "perfect bend" type of morphs.
Why are the morphs categorized as Pose Controls, when they seem to be shaping morphs? I expected to find them under Actor/Hands/Real World?
Edited to add a screenshot of the multiple bend morph results to illustrate the problem.
While it's an oversight on the part of the merchant I still don't know why DAZ has the HD morphs on by default to begin with! Makes no sense to me, esp for those of us that want to make morphs and have to remember even more clicks to turn off stuff before exporting to ZBrush or where ever. This to me is an oversight on the DAZ side of things. The HD morphs are an OPTION and an OPTION shouldn't be turned on by default but instead by the end user.
I just got a DIM update and the distortion problem has been resolved. Thanks for the fast service on that!!
Is this update only on DIM or also in the manual download listing? I do not use DIM and usually manually download the stuff I buy and install them to where I want it to reside.
Both should be the same. You cana lways use DIM to download, then install manaually - as long as you keep the zip you will then get update notifications.
