I appreciate you PAs very much. Thank you for participating in the sale. I know you work hard on your products and it's nice to have the opportunity to get them at a discount. Regardless of how the sale is setup (some like it, some don't) it doesn't change the fact you offered some really nice products for us. Kudos!

+10!
It really wouldn't be much of an event without tha whole-hearted participation of the PAs - and I sincerely hope it is profitable for all of you.
Thanks for supporting us!
I always time my workflow so I have a product ready for the sale, so it's nice to know customers appreciate it.

i also want to thank the PAs for their hard work overall.
Personally I don't find this much of an event with the whole rev it scheme scenario, so I am not participating, but I always keep an eye out for the new products.
Yes indeed, thank you all.
Let's see if anyone can figure out which three pieces from the first four days of the sale were used to do this...
Hongyu's Bikini 2 for Victoria 7
Kiva Hair For Genesis 3 Female(s), Genesis 2 Female(s) and Victoria 4
and is the last one the pose? Delight Poses for Genesis 3 Female
Looks like you have Iray Lighting down perfectly. Those are awesome promo images for Everyday Drinks. (Which I will be buying btw)
I agree - it's great getting the chance to pick up brand new items at such a good discount - thanks to all the participating PA's.
And I agree about those drinks promo pics - I'm grabbing that one today too...
Yes, totally agree, Thank you PAs! I have already managed to snag a lot of nice additions to my library at great prices. I quite like this sale set up.
Ciao

I like it too. And wouldn't it be nice for the G3 Male to be released while getting an extra discount? (One can dream.)
Two out of three... The pose comes from the same kit the backdrop and lighting does, Photo Shoot Iray.
That would be a most welcome icing.Well, no G3 Male today, but we do get gift cards again!
From Thursday, today I scoop up the Everyday Drinks and Badminton as the Thursdays expire after today anyway. Friday's stuff had a nice variety too, love Savage Hunter- always so much nice detail from that vendor! Will get that tomorrow. And love the beach- perfect for what I need, will get that in a couple days before the REV expires. So many neat things (yep, you'll see them featured on my Art Studio thread eventually, but no way can I do Iray like Mac and those glasses!)
Thank you vendors for the wonderful VARIETY and the MENS STUFF- WOOT WOOT WOOT!!!!!!
Heh! Never say 'no way'!
I found Iray lighting surprisingly easy, although years of fashion photography definitely helped. But I'd say all that's needed to make renders really pop is a little imagination. In those renders, I used a lot of back lighting, ramped way up to blast the hell out the glasses and bottles from behind. The other lights were mainly to fill it all in, and give me decent reflections in the glass. Everything else was straight out the box - ie. the products loaded and positioned - so no fancy tricks or postwork.
If I can do, so can you.

Now to find the right bar to set them up in... Glass shaders are something I've been having issues making.
There are plenty of bars. Souless Empathy has a great one in the store.
Not quite what I had in mind. Looking for something that just screams "チャツボ!"
Extra points for anyone that gets the reference ;)
And here is a render showing mac's wonderful Everyday Drinks. Told ya I would try them! (And how easy, I put them in the scene and got great results.) I was showcasing Backyard Retreat in my Art Studio thread and knew the drinks would be a good fit. (And that's only a couple of items, the set has so many different glasses and drinks- way cool!)
PAs are all I've purchased - nothing from the Rev or Full Trottle sale items.
Thanks to PAs!!!!.
"PAs are all I've purchased - nothing from the Rev or Full Trottle sale items."
The majority of those products are PA products. Hence the PA sale....
I've no clue if my product will make it through QA in time for the sale. I hope so. But even if I don't make it in time, thank you Novica. Sometimes it feels like people think the products for the sale are far less important than how the sale is run.
Discounts are nice, but the right product is the biggest thing. I've seen a lot that I've liked this time around, and if there wasn't anything I needed in the sale list, I wasn't going to buy and discounts be damned.
Any sneak peeks of your product this time?
Nice render! And I'm glad you found it easy to get good results. That means I've done my job properly.
mac
I'd like to add my thanks to those above and not just for this sale. I'm not a modeller, and I really appreciate the time and effort you folks put into bringing out great products for "prop and model arrangers" like me.
I wasted no time getting, and using, Everyday Drinks. All I did in this image was place the props and let the lighting and Iray do the rest. If you look at the full size image, the reflections on the bottle and her glass are really obvious. What a delight it was to not need to fiddle with anything to get the glass to look like, you know, glass! Thank you.
Prelude To A Kiss
Thanks to all you PA's, you have been putting out some fantastic items during the sale so far and I look forward to seeing what comes the rest of the month!
Here is the rub, so so sale is no big deal, changing the rules later so folks that purchased earlier got skeward, that is wrong.
Which is why you are still getting your Rev Up discounts, if they are better than the new promotion.
L'Adair- what a wonderful render. I really like the way the tablecloth morphs with the ground up and downs.
PAs have nothing to do with setting up or changing the sale, (understand your frustration!) I'm more focused on recognizing the time and effort our hard working PA's put in to bring us these products.
Mac- any chance you'll make other glassware items like decorative vases, mixing bowls for the kitchen, etc? Your glassware is so easy to use in Iray!
Well, the glassware was really inspired by Iray, and it went well with my Everyday Food/Snacks/Groceries packs. More? I'm not sure. I have some notes scribbled for a kitchenware pack, but no idea when I'll get around to it. But I like the Everyday series, so I'll keep on expanding it with new packs. However, right now, I'm going the opposite way and working on a junk/scrap pack.
L'Adair - Cool render! That's what champagne is all about - lol.
mac
Thank you. But I have to admit, no morphs involved with the tablecloth. I tried using the dynamic sheet, but it looked like steps, and half of the sheet disappeared under the ground. So what you see is an overlay on the terrain added using the Layered Image Editor. I was quite pleased with the way it turned out.
Thank you, mac. I'm glad you like it. I suspect this set will become something of a staple in my renders.
lol I am over it.
Had to look for this thread, but I knew it had been started. Thanks, Novica. I want to thank all the PAs who participated in the sale this month. I can't believe how many fantastically amazing products I picked up for such incredible prices! So, cheers for all your hard work and generous discounts! Thank you, DAZ, too!
'Cept...now I'm broke.
Ah, I'll just go and play with my new treasures and that will cheer me up!
