Have you looked at the notification preferences in your profile, to make sure that they are set up for you to get ebot notifications to your bookmarked threads?
Don't forget that things have changed with this new forum software. You actually need to bookmark a thread. That is the star by the gear icon
@cho.. I've done EVERYTHING on the daz side, including months with tech support.. I'm at the end of the chain
Test-icles.
It's now down to the domain server folks finding message in the email logs
One two, one two
Scavenger. Going to send you a PM
spam filters? secret spam filters? double-secret spam filters? super-ultra-ninja-double-secret spam filters?
You could have spam filters at the PC email application level, at your web-based email account level, at the ISP provider level where you can't see them from anywhere in your email account but they have an option somewhere on a support page to enable/disable it, and yet one more hidden level you cannot see nor access nor control at all (supposedly, from what I read). I vaguely recall once not being able to get some email when forwarded from account A to account B, and had to reverse which account I used and then forward the other email in the opposite direction in order to get all mail email from both accounts.
Or it could be email gnomes.
What no spam, spam, spam, ham, eggs, spam, bacon, eggs and spam?
this is frustrating.. it keeps getting one step forward and back
needing some more replies.
echo echo echo
and now I've elemenaed Godaddy from the chain.
so literaly, the problem is Forum notifications, and only forum notifications, that are sent to my main email adress at godaddy, gets fileted going to the comcast account I access.
No other email going in gets filtered by comcast.
The forum notifications going thru other routes.. directly to comcast, or bouncing from gmail-> comcast, they arrive fine.
It is literally JUST the forum notes (not even other daz mail) THRU the Domain email-> comcast that don't arrive.
So tomorrow, I get to spend time with comcast as I have no user side filters on the account...at which point I'll likely bump this thread again..:)
THANKS for everyone's help.
you are on notice :-p.
I did not send this message. If you don't read it then never-mind.
do I still need to reply here, for you
Do you need me to make a post or private message you?
I suppose I'm already making a post, so that's sort of a moot point... But, since you said tomorrow you'll probably bump this thread, I'm guessing it's not a PM thing...
This is very temping... I'm bored and you asked for posts...
You did realize there was a chance that I might come across this thread and start replying to it?
Did you know that one of my posts actually used up the full character limit for a single post?
I'm actually proud of that... But thats from a guy who still ate his chocolate cake after it fell under the computer desk and got all spiderwebby... Thats a long story... Actually it's not, but I can make it a long story.
Well, I'm gonna go and do some stuff and check back... Or just just post random thoughts... Which is pretty much anything I think.
I learnt a new thing today
dyslexic people often do not hear their voices in their head so move their lips reading and talk to themselves more often.
i talk to myself and argue with myself but I hear my voice in my head without speaking etc when reading too, am not dyslexic either though get a bit of spoonerisms now and again speaking.
i think in pictures too as well as speech and emotions so either very normal or abnormal but unsure which.
I talk to my cat.
she listens.
Hey, now that I have McGyver involved in this, I'm feeling more confident it'll get fixed.
I can hear the voices in my head, but I'm not always sure which one is me.
I'm never sure which one is you, either.
Well both of you can reply again as I'm checking a new pattern right now :)

well, you're the one with a sword.
Maybe there's no problem with your email notifications at all. Perhaps everything's working just fine, but right now you are actually asleep and only dreaming that you are having problems with email notifications. In fact, this thread doesn't even exist, and none of us have replied to it. When you wake up, you will still be in 4th grade. The entire thing up to this point was part of the dream.
Well, the problem has existed since March 1...so I'd _LOVE_ for everything since then to have all been a dream...or that I'm in 4th grade still... I can work with that.
which domain provider?
From a past experience, Comcast is the culprit. They considered multiple recipients - spam and killed the messages at the Comcast level.
