I am slowly learning how to use it.

I have a few thoughts while using it.
It would be very helpful to be able to use automatic and continuous bezier.
    https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/using/keyframe-interpolation.html

With Bezier alone, I have a hard time adjusting it to create a smooth trajectory.
It's because it takes a lot of time and effort to create the curve I want while keeping the three “external point-internal point-external point” points in a straight line.
Because it takes a lot of time and effort to align the three points, it is very difficult to adjust.
Auto Bezier or continuous Bezier is always smooth because it is always in a straight line.

Also, if I am creating a large scaled wide scene, it is difficult to select with a click because the control point is so small.

I also find it difficult to move the camera when editing, so it would be useful to be able to select a control point and use the camera control.

    Mopat test movie.

I had the same issue the handles were too small and hard to see, but I repaired a bunch of Windows C++ system files

and suddenly, the handles were large like the ones in the Mopat demonstration video.

I am not sure what fixed it, it could be many things but it suddenly worked right. It was like the edit mode was reversed to the non-edit mode.

But it is better now. I hope you figure it out. There is also the slow-motion issue where you move the handles, and the slightest movement sustains and keeps moving after you let off the click.

The slow-motion thing is not a big deal but it is an issue. It might be my vertical mouse playing tricks on me.

     Thanks for the reply.
I tried to repair the Windows C++ system, but there was no change.

It may be due to the fact that the Mopat node is an object, not a system cursor as DazStudio is supposed to be.
It may be that they look smaller when they are far away.
Like in a scene 10 kilometers square, even if it is the size of a basketball, it will not be visible.
When I create a scene with an airplane flying around a city, it may be easier to manipulate the control points if I work with a scene where the city is reduced to 10 meter squares.

If the three “external point-internal point-external point” points are not neatly aligned, the camera will move jerkily when it passes through the “internal point” in the red circle.

Here you go, this is the cone animation .duf directly before I click to convert path to keyframes.

If I click "Convert Motion Path to Keyframes", Daz Studio crashes.

    Thank you. I'll check it.

     Hello!

I did several tests, however, I couldn't replicate the crash.sad

A question: Did the crash happen after the message asking for the precision? Or this message didn't appear.

By the way, I found two unrelated bugs. I fixed them for a soon update.

The message for precision comes up before the crash, the precision is set for 20% and I always leave it at that and click to continue and then Daz crashes.

    Hello Alberto!

I tried the new DLL version you sent me and it crashed as well.

Here is the crash report zip file and also the .duf file for the scene I created.

Please send any updates you create and I will test them for you. I am very happy that you are trying to figure out what is at the root of this issue.

Just realized that Mopat is crashing the latest studio release (DAZ Studio 4.23.1.18) when you try to use the Blender exporter.

Is theree a fix for this. When mopat is disabled then the exporter works as expected.

    Name : Mopat: Motion path

    Author :Alvin Bemar

    Version: 1.0.0.0

Could you click on Save in that box,? This will create a zip file. Then upload it, please. Thank you.

I am unable to get past adding the node and a primitive. The cone will follow the path, the alignment works. When trying to edit the curve, I am unable to manupulate the handles. No alterations occur to the bezier curve.

You should set the Edit parameter of the Mopat Node to On to move the handles, otherwise, they couldn't be modified. After editing, set the Edit parameter to Off.

I have problems with the operation:
    - When I switch on the edit mode, the points become so large (see appendix) that they overlap so much at close distances that they can no longer be selected.
    - To select a point, a simple click is not enough; it has to be a double click.
    - When moving a point with the mouse, the tool reacts very slowly, so that the point is often moved much further than desired.
Does anyone have any ideas about these phenomena; it doesn't look like this in the tutorial video?

Hi! Thank you very much for this plugin, it's awesome! laugh However, is it possible to increase the width of the lines and the points, please? Because to mody a long path, it would be more convinient to have a far view, in order to see the entire path. But with a far view, I absolutely can't see the path:

I need to zoom very close to the path in order to see it, but when I do that, I can only see a small part of the path, since it is long...

So, it is difficult to give it the exact shape that I want without seeing it entirely...

I already set the Opacity of lines to 100%, and I even tried to set it to 1 000%, but I still can't see the path when I use a far view...

    Thank you in advance!
