Arghhhh....!
Now it's happening to me every day sometimes twice a day. I haven't changed my habbits but it keeps changing it's occurence frequency and behavior, sometimes requiring only one quick cycle, sometimes several quick cycles, sometimes long delays several times.
I use Win7-Pro, IE-11, I use Norton InternetSecurity "Identity Safe" to keep my login credentials. I login in to DAZ via an IE "Favorite" tab on the Favorites Bar pointing to "http://www.daz3d.com/home". After loging me out I login again and press the Little man icon to sign in and am presented with a small pop-up that is not recognized by my Norton InternetSecurity "Identity Safe" and the fields are left blank. I activate the "RememberMe" checkbox then press "Login" and I'm presented with a full page Login dialog that is recognized by "Identity Safe" and it fills in the fields for me and I get logged in OK.
I never leave my IE-11 app running when I'm done browsing. Sometimes during the day when I come back I don't need to login again. Sometimes I do need to login again but when presented with the small pop-up login the fields are filled in by "Identity Safe". Other times it doesn't fill in the fields in the small pop-up but will fill in the fields in the full page login dialog.
I don't always turn off my machine at night but leave it in "Sleep" mode. Sometimes when I resume in the morning my DAZ login works OK, sometimes it goes through the log out dance.
Is this the technology of the society that is going to migrate to mars and the stars?
I just started having this problem this week. For me, it's happening when I search google and then click on a link to a forum post. I'm in Safari on my mac but also tend to be logged in on my iphone. I get the continuous loop of logouts and have to close the window.
*chuckles*
I get this issue a lot still as well. I just do somethign else while it figures it out. Sometimes it takes a minute or two.
it does it regulary on my Win7 desktop on Chrome but I fired up my Vista Laptop yesterday and I was still signed iin from old forum on Chrome and could see recent posts since my last desktop visit with new in orange.
I think it's the Feds watching.
Actually... if you think about the words that are likely to come up in a random scan of the site's traffic, then take it out of context, this is probably a very suspicious looking place. Long live the Digital Anarchy Movement, 3rd Division!
I've been suffering from this problem ever since the new forum was launched. Very annoying, sometimes it loops for 10 minutes before it decides to let me into the forum. And then I'm logged out without asking for it, and if I'm in the midst of shopping at the same time, the cart gets emptied and I have to start all over. I hope they'll fix this soon. :-(
Apart from the auto-logout shenanigans, this is what happens to me every time I log in, every single time since the store (not forum) switchover. Except it's Firefox, not a Norton widget, doing the not-recognising-the-popup. Every other forum and 99% of other websites on the entire Internet autocomplete the login sequence perfectly. That little popup defeats it every single time.
Except for every now and then when I click on the green login button and suddenly!
... nothing happens. Then when I click on the still-white little man icon to try again, the popup pops up. Properly autocompleted.

I get this quite a bit also. Seems to only happen when I am not logged into the shop first. If I am logged into the shop, I never get it going into the forums.
Wow, I went through 18 hours and a reboot without losing my login status. Wow! Should I start counting my chickens?
Firefox, Cyberfox here. I was complaining about this in the stickied "New Forum" thread. Seems a TINY bit better now but yea, been in that loop thing. You just sit there and laugh at the browser doing these hiccups while it was trying to get straightened out.. ridiculous!
I take back anything good I said about this problem disappearing for me. It was apparently only a fluke. It's back with a vengence.
I have NEVER, ever, ever, nowhere, nohow had this type of trouble with a login/logout mechanism. Just what the %$#*%*&*% does DAZ do that causes this problem? And more importantly why aren't we seeing progress with this issue?
I agree it appears to be unpredictable but I suspect that it isn't high on the priority list because not enough people are complaining. We're just coping. When do we refuse to cope anymore?
Same here. If I'm not logged into the store first, it will happen in Chrome and Firefox.
When you say "logged into the shop"... where is that? I see the option to log in by clicking on the little blue guy in the upper right corner, that's there whether you are viewing the store or viewing the forums, no difference I can see. Is there a different form of login somewhere?
DIM has the option to sign into your account. Presumably then it would also sign out? If that is correct, that would suggest there is more than one way to sign out. Does DAZ Studio have any similar sign in/out logic? Could something else be signing us out accidentally, and it's not the website at fault? I don't normally use DIM often, so that's not the issue in this case, but I've been firing up DAZ Studio often recently.
Is there any way to see the date/time when you last signed in our out?
Starting at a signed-out point: I click on the Commons forum bookrmark. I click the gear icon and sign into my account with the checkbox checked to stay signed in. I then visit the Commons forum bookmark a second time, which then gives me the "signing you in"-type message.
In firefox, I delete all the DAZ cookies EXCEPT the Vanilla cookie (there are sometimes several cookies that start with the word Vanilla but have more characters, I delete all those too.). I then visit the Commons forum bookmark again, and it gives me the "logging out" message for a while, while I see Noscript's status bar at the bottom rapidly naming off a bunch of different site addresses or something. However, this seems a bit different than the normal signout loop, which I thought had a lot more flashing of the actual logging out message that I'm not seeing. So perhaps this bit of info is meaningless and not a way to duplicate the loop, and is just a "normal" logout.
But, other tests where I deleted ALL the daz cookies doesn't give me this message; it simply shows the blue man icon as being logged out, without any actual logout messages. So, what I'm wondering now is if there is some particular order or combination of cookies that are missing or deleted or expiring that triggers this loop?
And maybe none of this matters and I've just wasted some time. I don't know.
