do love these flash sales even if they only last short periods have managed to catch a lot of them I think even though live in Australia luckily I'm a night person and I'm often on here anyways latest guessing it is a flash sale blue banner at top anyway offering Aiko 6 bundles at 86% add to that my Summer Sales discount bonus discount and maybe being a Plat+ member maybe? I got the pro bundle for under $10 US :) also picked up a ton of other goodies from the buyers of V7 places and things sale and the crypto/antfarm sale I'm a kid in a candy store lately so many goodies and so many sales lately
A blue banner at the top of the screen is 'website messaging', which is a direct message from DAZ to you (and a large or small number of other users).
The difference between the deals advertised in these blue banners and a regular Flash Sale is that the offer in the blue banner isn't for everyone: it's usually sent out to some limited number of users, and only those users who see the banner will get the deal. For example, I didn't see the blue banner, and if I look at the Aiko 6 bundles, they show up as just 30% off (PC+ member price). Flash Sales, on the other hand, are usually for everyone (I think there have been a few that were for PC+ members only, but mostly they're universal).
The same, incidentally, is true of special offers that you get by email. If you didn't get the email, you can't use the coupon. If you forward the email to a friend who didn't get it, they'll just get a 'Coupon not valid' message when they try to apply it.
yeah i gobbled up some of that on site messaging. they haven't sent me anything nice in a very long time, so I gobbled up all three of the messages they sent me today.

i got Aiko and Olympia but the Michael tab isn't showing anymore :( I may have closed the blue tab accidentally. Anyone know the code so I can try it?
Go to "My Account", then "Messages", and finally "Exclusive offers". Your offers should be there even if you closed the blue bar.

I've got a blue banner offering 85% off Olympia 6 bundles. I already have Aiko 6, so no offer on that - seems like they're probably sending them out to people who don't have these particular characters yet. Or maybe its because my spending has started to dry up a bit recently...
A few weeks ago I would've jumped at the chance but now that they've obsoleted the x6 range I don't see the point in investing in it any further

That seems to be it. I got Olympia (for free, no less) in a recent sale, but don't have Aiko. Got the message about Aiko.
Not that I'd typically have a use for a Japanese stylised animation character, but with the PC discount the model was just $3.31, so... No reason why not!

I hear ya, almost $300 in last month for me.
They aren't obsolete though. I still use them as my main line and only dabble with V7. Artists tools never really get obsolete, it's just a matter of preference and know how. Thats why it took so long for many photographers to move to digital:) V7 is an iterative change, not revolutionary. V5 was revolutionary in the dazsphere IMO.
Yup, and personally I still prefer my Perfect V4 to all of them, but now that I has disposable income I am giving the other generations a chance.
I still prefer Perfect V4, too. At least V7 looks like she has bones rather than rubber under her skin. So I won't be so miffed when I'm finally forced to give up PV4, lol. I've spent way to much money on V4 to just toss all of my content to upgrade, either. Especially when the upgrade looked like she/he had prosthetic limbs.

I often see these blue banners and other specials though I wasn't one of the lucky ones that got one of those statues that's ok keep getting lots of bonus bargins
I just mean that support for the x6 models is going to slowly start drying up in terms of new products coming out for them in the future in the wake of V7. It already seems to have begun to a degree. Obviously they still work fine within the (now finite, probably) range of products currently available for them and I do still use them as my main figures (as I refuse to upgrade to V7 already), but I don't see the point in investing in a x6 variety figure thats probably never going to have any new characters or accessories made for it. I already have Victoria 6, Ysabeau 6, Aiko 6 and Giselle 6 and am quite sad that they're probably not going to see many more new character morphs made for them in the future... particularly Ysabeau 6 which is brand new and my favourite - I was really hoping to see a lot of new Thorne-style characters appear based off that but now I think the chances are unlikely

I'm mildly confused. You have to buy a new release over $5, but new releases are excepted. Seems an odd thing. Maybe I should just try it out and see.
Okay, I tried it. It means that Stonemason's new releases are not part of the 50% off. Shame. I wanted the pool house. I'll wait.
You have to buy the new release to trigger the 50% off on Stonemason products that are NOT new releases.
I think the idea is that if you buy any new release (not necessarily by Stonemason), then you get 50% off Stonemason products (but the 50% discount doesn't apply to Stonemason's new releases). That sort of makes sense. Although I agree that, depending on how you phrase it, it can sound very confusing indeed.
