There isn't an option to show/hide in render?

    Dana

    Can't you make them invisible?

I can't even FIND them in the scene! :ahhh:

I'll try when I'm off Nyquil.. :red:

They are probably somewhere in the hierarchy of the dress.
Why are you using Nyquil in the daytime? %-P

Same excuse as for any alcohol before 5:00PM. "It's 5:00PM somewhere in the world!"

Or it could be because "it works!".

It has been a while since I have seen a dress or skirt with handles.

    I think it's a Poser thing. :)

That's the odd thing, I installed the DS-specific version of this and I saw handles.. really weird. Not sure if DS did something wrong on loading.

I found out if I hide the parts of the skirt that have handles, the handles vanish.. but even at the deepest level, there's no individual handle entry. Urgh.

I emailed the vendor, we'll see if I'm just stupid or not.

ps. using Nyquil to sleep, I heal faster when I sleep a lot! :cheese:

....looking at the image, it appears the wings fold back. So yeah, this is still more of a hybrid aircraft/car (like the old AeroCar) and yes, most likely standard aircraft licencing (both VFR and IFR) would be required. Also, the fact it has wings would prohibit taking off from a normal roadway or car park.

There is one inventor who has been dedicating a lot of time to what looks more like the Sc-iFi version using the lifting body concept with ducted fans in the body to create and maintain lift as well as four variable geometry ones to propel it horizontally.

I still shudder at the nightmare that ATC would have dealing with thousands more flying objects in a major city's airspace. It would require a monumental overhaul of the entire archaic air traffic control system we have today.

Supposedly we have mandatory driver training and testing, but what I see occurring on the roads daily, it makes it seem like drivers' licences are being given away free in specially marked boxes of brekkie cereal.

    Is anAeroMobil http://www.aeromobil.com
    ...nice concept.

However, rearward visibility for ground use looks heavily compromised (no mirrors or back window) Same for the side visibility. Also the wheelbase is very long (like that of a large UPS/Fed Ex delivery van or a minibus) so tight corners on city streets would require a lot more care when turning. Better also have excellent climate control as that bubble canopy would turn the inside into an oven on a hot sunny day.

...select the handles, go into the surfaces tab, and set opacity to 0%.

    Sure Happy It's Thursday. :blank:

Got some suggestions on the dress handles business from a vendor.. will try it tonight. Apparently they're not supposed to show up in a render, and yet they do... :blank:

New vitamins seem to be working, I feel slightly less miserable. :) Lots of C, B6/B12, and all those other vitamins that get wiped out when you're stressed (and I swear I LIVE stressed unless I'm asleep, and even then sometimes...). Next up,, eating more veggies, which means buying canned and fresh! I can cook most things in the microwave, and I can get canned for those I can't. Grocery spree this Payday! :bug:

Time to go on a budget.. the laptop I want is $1100 (quad core i7, NVIDIA GPU w/ 4GB VRAM) so that means bank a little each Payday. Probably will buy from NewEgg online, or a local Best Buy if they carry it or can order it for me.

I dread transferring all my software.. :shut: Probably be down for a week as far as music/3D production goes.

    Back to work, work, work...

    OT: completely!

But big news in the medical area:
    http://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/new-test-finds-every-virus-you-ever-caught-n369961

A test that will identify every (well, nearly every) virus you've ever had, for $25. Reduces the need for testing for individual viruses at $100 a pop.

I think what surprised me the most is how few species of viruses there are that attack humans (200+). Most people show infection by an average of just 10 different virus species.

There are a lot of strains, though. They mutate like crazy!

I wonder...why would I want to know what I had? I guess there must be a reason for it.

Maybe in case you cannot remember if you had chicken pox as a kid and was wondering if you can get shingles or not.
