Daz Animal Fur to Blender hair particles

Hello, I would like to ask if there is a way to convert the fur of the daz animals to blender hair particle? As I saw when try, the animal fur is usally Strand Based Hair which means I turn on the view and make tessalations 2. But when exporting it to blender via diffeo I got a million tris mesh. Sadly when i try to start the converting (tube type) the whole blender is just crash. Any idea how can I fix it? Or any another way to convert animal fur to hair particles? Thank you.

You don't need tessellation 2, you can use tessellation 0 that will export polylines, that's enough for conversion. As for the optimization you can either reduce the SBH density in daz studio before exporting, or use sparsity in make hair. Then you use children tro fill the fur.
