At a glance, it appears you haven't applied textures and transparency maps to the mane and tail sections; you're just seeing the underlying mesh here.

I don't use Studio much, so can't comment on exactly how to fix, but I would start by checking those areas to make sure the texture maps are applied, as well as the alpha/transparency maps.

It should be drag-in-drop. If not, it would be nice if they had instructions.

I could have sworn it was drag and drop... it certainly is in Carrara to apply texture/mat poses (although I prefer to tweak them in the texture room to be better). I just purchased the Daz horse 2 bundle in the recent animal bundle sale but haven't downloaded it yet. Since I'm rendering something right at the moment, hopefully later tonight I can install and load this up to see if I can give better advice. In the meantime, someone who uses Studio might happen by to give a better answer.

Make sure you have the tail or mane selected (to be sure select them in the scene tab)and from materials choose the tail or mane texture you want, I don't do drag and drop but double clicking works.

not sure if it is the maps or position of the mane that is what you are talking about. If it is the mane I belive someone did a freebie to fix the bare spot when it was first released. Sorry I don't have a link as I use the hivewire horse these days.

You have to define which material you want. Select the mane, then choose the material from within the relevant product in the Smart Content pane. Repeat for the tail. Done. :)

Selecting the material for the mane works, but not the tail. This still doesn't address the problem of the drag-n-drop not working.

Make sure you have the tail selected - do it in the scene tab - I found I had trouble otherwise
