    Just to clarify - all those that did complete the survey (such as myself) will receive the $5.00 coupon, correct?

    Thanks. There are several sale items I want but I'm waiting for the coupon. I hope they don't go off sale before I get to use the coupon.
    I have to be away from the computer for a few hours; but will check everything later tonight.

    It says it expires May 27, gives you a month to use it.

    It should appear as a green banner across the top of the webpage when you're logged into the Daz site.

    Maybe they are considering integration or improving compatibility with some of the apps in listed in the survey? That would explain why Carrara and Bryce would be left out. If not that, then something else that precludes Bryce and Carrara.

    Thanks, Ben, for both the coupon and for keeping the other sales up. I was able to use it to grab Lilith 6 for free with my other purchases.

    OK, I have some stuff in the shopping cart and I have tried several times to apply the coupon code. It is telling me the code is not valid. Where are we supposed to enter this?

    It worked like a regular coupon code for me. What items do you have in the cart? It only applies to DAZ originals and excludes both PC+ and new items.

    Thanks DAZ for the survey and coupon. I have always enjoyed my 3D hobby and the purchases from the DAZ Store, so will now look for something I need to spend the coupon on.

    Ah, OK. That was the problem. I found something that the coupon actually applied to and was on my wish list (not an easy thing to do).

    DAZ_Ben completely avoided the topic of Carrara and for that matter iClone, should I be worried?
    I bought Octane render soley so I could actually use DAZ studio in my workflow sometimes and it annoyed the hell out of me even keymate and graphmate did not endear me to it, once I added the Octane render 4 carrara pugin to my armoury I never looked back and use Carrara once again 80% of the time with iClone filling the other 19%, (1% studio to get stuff into 3dx5).
    I have 4000+ items in DIM so certainly buy DAZ content, I have PP12 & P10 too.
    I ask because a nasty rumour has been around that DAZ intends charging third party apps extra to use their content and putting it all on the cloud like Adobe etc. As to the fate of Carrara, and for that matter Bryce for those who use it (and some due to forum status cannot criticize DAZ) in spite of its lack of development, not even a 64bit version, I can only say an awful lot of speculative threads pop up, this survey did nothing to reasure me about my misgivings at all.

    While you could argue that Carrara is already integrated for Poser/Daz content and can use it natively, I don't think that's true for Bryce.

    That looks pretty speculative to me, not something official or confirmed.

    Greetings,
    I think you will see DAZ offer some cloud services; Iray rendering, for particularly complex scenes, for example. (Think 'rendering as a service'.)

    That is not the same as Photoshop's 'only in the cloud' model.

    The sky (or cloud) is not falling... Sometimes more features are just more features. And maybe they won't even offer that; I'm really not in a position to know.

    not saying it going to happen, as Richard said just pure speculation but people gossip especially Poser users I know.
    I have been using my older content an awful lot lately in Carrara as I know it will just work, now off to spend that 5 bucks on some older D.O.'s :lol:
