Hello, idk if this should go here or not.
I do not speak English so I hope the translation of google is successful.
It happens that I have obtained Bryce PRO 7 and want to use it to create landscapes commercially for a game I'm creating. I searched the terms of license Bryce 7 Pro but can not find in anywhere, just meeting those of Daz3d and all its models, which you can not use in video games (unless you pay one or more of the overpriced licenses for these purposes). My question is:
For Bryce 7 PRO apply the same licensing terms Daz3d in relation to video games even those creations created by me without any use of material Daz3d ?.
Excluding materials bryce offers like this:

http://www.daz3d.com/new-releases/bryce-7-1-pro-golden-lighting?cjref=1&utm_source=cj&utm_medium=affiliate

Using the product of that link, succeed in making my mind:

That created po my, did I use a commercial character videojeugo without paying any additional license or that violates the terms of license bryce ?.
Greetings.

The DAZ 3D EULA covers everything that is sold in the Store, including the software.

Any game that uses any assets that are the Intellectual Property of DAZ 3D will requite a Games Developer License.

Any Product sold in the store that is not owned by DAZ 3D but which is a PA product, such as the one that you link to, will require and additional license from the PA in question. AFAIK this PA doesn't have a Game Dev license on offer, so their products would not be usable in games.

You cannot use Products from the DAZ 3D Store. without a license, nor any part of the supplied content which comes with Bryce.

A terrain that was drawn completely by scratch by you on a blank terrain canvas, and which didn't use any of the materials supplied with Bryce would possibly be usable, if you can work out how to export it in a format which can be used

They may be 100% free products but they are still not licensed for games.

You would need to make your own maps for terrains using terrain editor as said, create your own textures, generate your own trees not use presets etc.
I am a carrara not a Bryce user but do the same thing in carrara, use a height map to create terrains painting in the landscape myself not using one somebody else has premade.
You can use the tools of Bryce to create stuff for games but not premade content including examples.

Not anything that actually comes with Bryce, you need to create your own or purchase a games Developers license

    PS Please check your emails
