Thanks for both replies. Will keep both of those products in mind depending on what I need to do in the future and my funds. :)

Some of the G1 stuff even in promos, looks like a complaint critics have about Michelangelo's sculpting...his female chests tend to look like men with breasts added as an afterthought.

Looking at the morph list in just the cleavage modifier, I'll assume it was just too much work for most clothiers...part of the reason I'd prefer it be part of Genesis itself. Bad for visible cleavage, yes, but just fine for T-shirts, polos, sweaters and modest dresses.

Okay here's what I wonder..I get why making clothes for genesis may be a hassle..but why did content creators seem to neglect Victoria 5 and Michael 5? It seems like sticking to V5 or M5 would have alleviated some of the challenges that having a gender neutral base presented

Those are morphs of the base. Working to a single morph has issues that have already been discussed in this thread.

So my current tentative plan is to mostly use G1 but get SickleYield's g2 fit to g1 to access cool g2 outfits.

Are there any particular drawbacks to this approach?

Where those cool outfits have custom bones, you will need to master a transfer utility conversion method.

Mutter. Guess I'm stuck between different inadequate options.

Those are the tricks of the 3D trade. Making what you have work for you. ;)

i know how to convert clothing from genesis 2 to genesis 1 but how do i save the converted clothing?

File--save as-- scene assets -- figure/prop asset, change all the names in the dialog that pops up so you don't overwrite the original.

thank you for the reminder to change its name.

Gee...you mean I've just been doing it right all along?

I always tack on something like gen or g2f to things I convert.

And a little thought on Genesis...it's like windows Vista. Does everything...but... ;-)

I just got tired of the heap of things that don't play nice with g2.

Although I think I'll see if I can make LAMH facial hair to my satisfaction...
