Hello!

I know that this has been addressed and answered to earlier, but I cannot find that post - so is there a way to copy the perspective view to a camera. So that you see the same through the camera as the perspective view go.

About the only way I can think of, is not exactly the same. For pointing eyes at the camera.

1 select the head of the figure I want looking at the camera.
2 center the view on that (clicking the square-thing to the right of the 3D-cube)
3 spin my view around (using the 3D-cube) till the camera is between me and the head of the figure.
4 use the little hour-glass-thing to zoom in a tad.

at that point I can usually get the eyes pointed close enough using the eye pose controls.

IF there is a direct way to set the Prospective exactly to the camera, I've yet to hear of it. That and I'm sure that if I then try to rotate and zoom the view into a face to aim the eyes, the prospective view will end up sliding off to the side of the line of view of the camera anyways.

    Greetings,
If you go create a new camera, while looking through the perspective view, it will offer an option to copy the transforms to the new object.

It doesn't work for custom cameras, like AoA's special cameras, but it does definitely work for perspective view.

I'm at work, so I can't screenshot it, but I use this functionality *all* the time. :)

Douh! I somehow read that the other way. Yes, when you create a new camera from the "Create" menu, an option window pops up, asking what settings to apply to the camera.

The one screen-cap I don't have on speed-dial, and the computer is in the middle of a test render, lol.
    (EDIT)
Now if you want to move an existing camera to the Prospective view, I don't know. It's just as easy to create a new camera.
