LMAO
It's been our pleasure to work with the vendor to provide our ideas and see them realised in the final product. :)
I hope it lands in the store soon.
AWESOME!!!
....News?
Just a lot of people waiting for this great item.
Almost through testing. There was a LOT to test and I did have to fix some stuff :(
Your stuff is worth the wait! I use your A3 suit on autofit Genesis all the time, it will be great to see a Genesis version.
...and news!?!
Please do tell it has passed Q&A...
As a person who works directly with DC & Marvel and the rest, allow me to give you a bit of advice in regards to trademarks.
The easy method is to actually. just go with a generic name for them. Something like UTC Cowl Exp set 1, etc. You don't have to draw attention to the inspiration, the fans will know it by looking at it. The further you stay away from specific naming convention the better.
Now if you were making a Batman full suit texture rip off to sell then the Eye of Sauron would be on you in a heartbeat. What yer doing is fine.
Material zone or preferably suit mesh zone that creates a proper men's superhero "speedo" brief like superman, Not some woman's high narrow thong type brief. And not some hot-pants type shorts.

I suggest Pointed Ear Superhero and Brave Superhero. Who could possibly sue for that?

Oh HELL no! I don't go anywhere NEAR that site!
Almost out of QA! Funny regarding the previous posts on super hero names. QA just came back to me, I had to change names of a few presets. They had problems with the follow named presets: Batman, Spiderman, Flash, Superman, Hulk, Wonderwoman and Mr and Mrs Incredible. LOL Wonder if they have been reading this thread?
So are BatMike, WebSlinger, Speedy, SuperDude, Bulk and Mr and Mrs Okay not okay?
A bit of Trivia, when my son was 3 or 4 he would run around the house in a Batman cowl/cap combo, with only a t-shirt and underwear on. His name is Michael so we called him "BatMike!"
Cheers!
So the front can be made to look like you want but they way the material zones are laid it the back may ride a little high in the back. As with any general purpose outfit you will probably need a detailed texture to get exactly what you want.
Cheers!
Was playing around with the Sheer Greatness! shaders the other day. Just adjusted the transparency on some of the zones for modesty.
:snake: Is it there yet, is it there yet?
Those still make it super obvious who they were modeled after. Go *really* generic-- Tall Ears, Big Eyed, etc.

And the shapes of the morphs themselves won't make it obvious? :)

I agree with Changeling, avoid any sound alike and they won't even look yer way. Her suggested names for the 2 closest matches are pretty spot on too :)
Most of the alternate names would be ok, but Speedy was the name of Green Arrow's sidekick. That always confused me when I was a kid and first saw the Teen Titans; the name Speedy seemed mofe appropriate for Kid Flash. Ancient history aside, I can't wait to get this suit into my runtime. Hopefully not much longer now.
Though, I must speak-up about something here. I couldn't help but noticed that the back of the foot demonstrates some notable space between the figure and the suit meshes. At first I didn't think much of it, assuming that such bend spacing was universal, but after comparing similar bends with the Gen 5 Supersuit (Blue) and Flipmode's G-Suit 2 (Red) on G2F, I noticed that both a very tight fit to the mesh. So, I hope that's just an adjustment morph and not the natural bend of the suit itself...
I changed them to SuperrHero1, 2, ... etc. on the presets and SuperHeroMask1, etc. on the morphs. Unimaginative I know, but my imagination is in short supply right now.

Maybe it is the shader causing the effect your are seeing or maybe I am not understanding the issue? Here are a couple of images. One I have the transparency set to about 40% so you can see the outline.

I think maybe RCD meant the large flat panel in the back of the right foot:
I agree its probably caused by the shader as I don't see it at all in your example.
Well, not just that one panel of mesh (I actually assume that to be due to the shape of the figure itself, which is sporting some firm calf muscle), but the whole outline of the back from that point down as well. Looking at the 40% Opacity render shows what I mean more clearly. I recreated my renders to better match and compare that one to help point it out. In order they are the G-Suit 2, Supersuit BasicSuit, and the Catsuit. Notice the significant overall spacing between the meshes in each one, especially around the left shin-to-foot curve and the right heel (as well as the density of the toes):
Ah, yes there are some areas of the suit that are not as close to the mesh. With all the extra polygons due to the extra material zones I had to overcome some poke-through issues. The G-Suit for example the polygons are almost all exactly the same as Genesis and so it is much easier to make it tighter.
However, if you need it to be really tight you can do -100% on the expand all morph or one of the more localized adjustment morphs then apply mesh smoothing. Attached is the result of doing this. I also conformed the G-suit to Genesis 2. G-suit is multicolored and the UltraCatsuit is yellow. As you can see from the image this puts the the UltraCatsuit much closer to the Genesis 2 mess. Hope this helps.
Cheers!
Fantastic! Thank you! :D
That puts me at ease now! :)
I hope this will be in March Madness soooon!
News???
