Is it just me or has [Drea Hair for G8F] the said hair disappeared? I can't find it in the store, and it's suddenly not on my wishlist anymore. Does anyone know who the vendor is, and if more of their stuff has disappeared? Gosh, I really hate it when this happens ...

Thanks! Well, it seems it's really gone from the artist's portfolio. I wish they'd just put it up as a 1.99 item or something before. Not cool.
It's a relatively recent item from a prolific vendor who has not left the site entirely, so it is fairly unlikely that it was withdrawn unless there was an issue with it that made it unsuitable for sale. As such, putting it up like that may well have been appropriate.
Vendors don't (generally) just pull recent products on a whim. Possibly it will return if any issue is fixed.
Hum, it's not really that recent, I can see that it's been on my wishlist for a rather long time because I couldn't make up my mind to buy. So whatever faults it had, they should have been resolved, and usually, there're just updates in such a case anyway. It's all okay with me, I just really, really wish we would get a heads up.
No, it's not mega-recent, but it's for the current generation (well, G8 rather than G8.1, but that's fully compatible), so that's comparatively recent as far as store content. Most stuff that's withdrawn for age is at least a couple of generations out of date.
But age is the only common reason for withdrawing a product where it would be appropriate to notify customers (and they usually do when that's the case). If there are bugs or other such issues bad enough that it requires withdrawing, it just wouldn't be on to sell it.
Sometimes the resolutions take time, and if the creator is in a situation where they cannot handle it immediately, a temporary withdrawal will often be done at their request specifically because they don't want customers buying it until it's fixed.
