As I sit here, waiting for Poser to absorb Genesis 2 content, let me say this... DSON Importer sucks. Kind of a toss-up as to which I prefer -- loooooooong DS render times or five hundred Poser crashes. *pulling hair out*

    Driving My Tulips

    draw:
    Lisa Botanicals: Tulips
    Calypso MSBN
    Trixy Hair
    Gaia for V4

Using logic that only makes sense in Hollywood, the prequel to Driving Miss Daisy takes place in Holland during a tulip mania (the original occurred in 1637). When a single bulb could be worth $400,000 in todays values. Here we find a young Miss Daisy earning a fortune as a tulip breeder. She brings to the client her breeding stock and even supplies the bees. She guarantees successful breeding but gives no guarantees as to value of the resulting offspring.

KaribousBoutique, what a refreshing idea. It looks as if the actresses decided to take a break and re-enact "Sunny Patrol", good pun! Why don't you pose the dragon dress for the sitting pose? I'm sure it is within your grasp, you know DS so well. It would enhance the image even further! For the time being, I look at the sun (how long did it take to render such realistic sunlight?) and envy your Griffin War Bundle :).

You only posted a link i this thread, not the image...Or perhaps to keep the forum a tad cleaner from double posting of images. Something I can understand in a way having paid for hosting-space on servers for quite some time myself.

I'm still working threw my concept. The lighting is completely under-worked. The scene is incomplete, and that "thing", still needs a ton of work, lol.

No, I posted my draw, my description and the link to the Entries-Only thread where the renders must be posted in order not to make a mess here. It clearly says:

I rendered a sequel (actually, an N-th part of this film made by Wabby's Land).

183 - Darwin the Toon Chimp
    147 - Freemason's Ruin
    151 - G6
    201 - Diana and Jones

    Tag: cecilia.robinson #1
Diana Jones: The Point of No Return (see here: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/viewreply/756361/)

In fact, I'm in the first three of participants, yay :D! But, if you prefer having renders in both threads, I've got nothing against it. So...

    Tag: cecilia.robinson #1
Diana Jones: The Point of No Return

In the steaming jungles of Congo, a scientific revolution awaits a brave soul to uncover it. Such time has come as a promising primatologist from a long line of unconventional scientists with flexible ethics, Diana Jones, arrives in the war-torn country. After months of research, she discovers a new species, Pan tooniscus, and begins studying it. But with war raging, her growing relationship with the group’s leader, Darwin, and descendants of her greatgrandfather’s enemies out for vengeance, in a tear-jerking innuendo, Diana approaches the point of no return...

You know the draw, no point in repeating it then.

EDIT: Thanks, Zarc, you read my mind! I simply wanted to ease things for users with slower bandwidth who have to wait for ages to see the typical RRRR page with all those shiny pictures... But if it's easier for Totte to have doubled renders, who am I to do otherwise ;)? Bearing this in mind, here's the draw copied from the original post:

    183 - Darwin the Toon Chimp (http://www.daz3d.com/darwin-the-toon-chimp)
    147 - Freemason’s Ruin (http://www.daz3d.com/freemasons-ruin)
    151 - G6 (https://www.daz3d.com/the-girl-6)
    201 - Diana and Jones (http://www.daz3d.com/diana-and-jones-outfit-for-genesis-2-male-s-and-female-s)

The shirt has my own shaders to give it a more worn look if that matters. No, Andrew Lloyd Webber didn't receive a commission for the quote. Click on the render to see it in its full resolution; it almost exceeds the forum limits (almost being a crucial word).

Lucky bastard as it says in the rules ! You got SciFi items and a good idea, they blended seamlessly. I, on the other hand, got two toons from different generations, a historically-accurate medieval environment and pulp fiction costume for Indy. Isn't the assortment insane? Four items, all different chickens.

Lol, the dress was supposed to look breezy, but then I forgot to add the effect to her hair, so she now just looks starched! (The sit morph is actually used in the dress pose.) There isn't any actual clipping there -- the dress drapes over her lap and down her left leg. The crossed position of her right leg bares her hip. It was after dawn when I finally posted this and went to bed, so I guess I'm lucky she isn't backwards and on her head. :D

It was rendered in Poser, not DS (not that it matters for the sit morph!) and it took less than 3 minutes to render the full scene. It's a single image-based HDRI light (with ambient occlusion) and a single infinite light with soft raytraced shadows. It's completely possible to accomplish this in DS using UE, but would have taken much longer to render. 3Delight is a more powerful engine than Firefly, but also more resource-heavy. On the other hand, the DSON importer crashed Poser at least a dozen times. (Two G2Fs in full clothes and hair with 2 additional figures was enough to make Poser very cranky!) I learned that if I hid the DSON content while I posed the rest, it stopped crashing.

Totte... Is it legal to fix her non-breezy hair?

I timed it... It took longer for Poser to open the file with all that DSON content than it did to render the image!!

Thanks, cecilia.robinson for pointing the issue out! I'll post this here for now, but I won't change it in the entries-only thread unless Totte okays it. Seems like it should be okay, since the deadline hasn't passed? But I'll wait for the official ruling, lol.

Cannonball Run VII - "To Mordor and back" Two of my favorite classic films!! I'd totally pay to see this on the silver screen! Hope there's no Balrog at the next checkpoint...

cecilia.robinson #1 - "Diana Jones: The Point of No Return" (Thanks for posting here! Don't think it's officially required, but it makes it much easier to remember to comment on it!) *giggle* She's got that sad "I love you, but war might tear us apart!" look in her eye...

Ooooooh, creepy! Definitely has that Silent Hill vibe. Nicely done!!
