Genesis 8 to Genesis 3 Pose Converter?

Hello,

I am aware of pose converters that go from Genesis 3 to Genesis 8 but is there a converter that goes the other way? From Genesis 8 to Genesis 3?

    There is a little script that can modify the pose after the event.

    If you download DavidGB's 'G3 G8 Pose Adjust Scripts' from Renderosity. In that there are 3 scripts. Open the 'G3F G8F Pose Adjust - Full.dsa' script in notepad or a similar text editor. Then everywhere it says something like:

    ( nZRot + 6 )

    change the + sign to a - sign and everywhere it says something like

    ( nZRot - 6 )

    change the - sign to a + sign (total 2 places for the + sign and 2 places for the - sign) and save the file as 'G8F G3F Pose Adjust - Full.dsa' and then you have created your own adjustment script.

    I can't attach the edited script as it's DavidGB's copyright. The script change is as simple as that. This script does limbs, but not expressions or things like finger grasp sliders. It's usually enough, though.

    Converting the poses is not even necessary. On Renderosity, search for the user ArchangelFirewolf, he has 4 freebies which make it possible to use G8 poses on G3 and vice versa - without converting them first. And the poses are adjustable, you get some sliders for that in Parameters -> Pose Control.

    Yeah, I only use the "Pose Correctors" for switching between 8 and 3.  Converting just takes up space for nothing.

    If you have Bone Doctor, it also has scripts for G8 to G3 pose conversion.

    At sharecg there is the "Daz3d Pose Converter (Standalone)" (freebee) which batch converts poses between G, G2, G3, G8 (up and down).
